I’m going to assume enough people were whining about PalWorld to them, they had to make a statement. The game will be safe, although I’m sure Nintendo will give them a hard time for a while.

I wonder if they'll start whining to the governments in the same manner, to try to get them to ban the game. Seeing the possibility of Justin Trudeau using the Emergency Act to ban Palworld, because people threatened to not vote for him the next election, or Jagmeet Singh threatening to end the NDP's alliance with the Liberals, if he doesn't ban the game, would be a LULZY story if it were to happen. And this is after he already made a fool of himself to unlawfully use that to crackdown the Freedom Convoy.

Or maybe Joe Biden uses that as part of Campaign, vowing to ban the game if he gets re-elected, and associating it as a ALT-Right-ULTRA-MAGA-Trump campaign that needs to be stopped, TO PROTECT DEMOCRACY.

And God forbid, they start whining to the WEF and/or BlackRock, begging them to take this game and its company down, stating the carbon generation from the game threatens the World's Climate.

The Chillet boss out in the world? Yeah, all of those alpha Pals respawn after a while. The mark on the map showing you cleared them is more to show that you defeated them at least once, since doing that gets you ancient tech points.

I did something similar. I built one of my bases specialized for defense with a shitton of mounted gatling guns next to a high-ish level syndicate camp (the one near Fenglope). More than exp, it's a steady supply of ammo that I don't have to spend ingots to make.

As a long time Pokemon fan this whole drama is embarrassing. Scarlet and Violet still run like crap and Sword and Shield didn't exactly set the world on fire. Fans should be welcoming this. Maybe we might finally get those performances fixed we were promised.

Might just be that they reused assets cleverly, focused on the meat to make it entertaining and didn't blow resources in animating hair or watching snuff films.

They also seemed to have hired actual proper talent unstead of unmotivated parasites and let them do their job instead of trapping them in meetings for hours.

It's lighning in a bottle? Yes, but it still took years to make, it's still being made and it could have perfectly ended obscure abd forgotten if they hadn't picked Pokemon with guns as the tagline.

Definitely agree the dungeon sets need more tuning and at least some sort clear indicator of difference other than the long elden ring tunnel to the boss.
Sickest part of the game is being able to go out hunting while riding a wolf and carrying a musket.
Even better is seeing one of those gardevoir types come rushing to assault your base and standing your ground america style while all hell breaks loose from your pals.


funniest thing is that pokemon and had to release a statement. In essence it was "shut the fuck up, we've seen it, we will get anyone who crosses our pure sweet copyright."

If you are interested in playing but worried about time, the game lets you heavily edit world settings to cut down on grinding. How much xp you get, catch rates, time for eggs to hatch, day/night cycles, encounter rates, ect ect ect.

It’s actually kinda crazy how much you can fuck with.
