Although I really don't care much for any of the fish, I'm hoping Tay wins solely because she's had everyone gang up on her, and also because it would be really funny to see TJ fans seethe about it.

She's pretty far behind though, Tay really needs to use her chips to steal points, but I guess it's hard to know when she should use her points since the challenges are made up on the fly. Who knows, maybe today's challenges will be stuff she can actually win.

My understanding of the american legal system is lacking so please correct me if I'm wrong but even if no crimes were technically commited couldn't someone like Summer or Abby at least launch a civil suit? I could swear people got Me Too'd successfully for far and away less heinous shit than what happened on Fishtank. And with no documented video evidence to help.

I don't want to clutter this thread with legal fagging but basically:

1. You can file a civil suit for any reason. That doesn't mean the case will be heard, it can be thrown out.

2. Civil suits are different from being charged with a crime. A crime needs to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. A civil suit relies on "the preponderance of evidence", basically a greater than 50% chance the claim is true.

3. This shit costs money. If you're a broke loser in your 20s (IE all fishtank contestants), you probably won't be finding a lawyer pro bono to sue Fishtank LLC. So you'd be paying for legal costs and you'd maybe get rewarded damages if you can demonstrate it somehow went out of the bounds of the contract you signed for the show.

There's no damages rewarded for "almost being hit by a car" so Abby isn't going to be given anything from the Jimmy incident. Likewise, Summer probably can't demonstrate she was raped (and if she could she probably would go to the police and it would be a criminal case followed by a civil suit)

After a brief moment of frantic searching he has now resorted to dejectedly standing around and staring at the wall.

Tayleigh is the obvious suspect, but I didn’t see it happen. Any witnesses here in this thread?

Yeah, Tay stole them last night while he was sleeping. She also attempted to steal Shinjis, but I'm not sure if she was successfull.

They already convinced TJ and Shinji to team up against her. Stealing was her only option if she wanted to stand a chance, but I can definitely see her getting fucked over for it anyway.

edit: What is the conversation between Ben, Jet, and TJ? I only tuned in to Jet saying that if TJ does something she could complain that it's sexual harassment.

Edit; Okay, I understand it now. TJ was asking if he could steal Tay's chips while she's in the shower. Jet at first says no, but then later changes and says he can do what he wants but she could hold a bad grudge or maybe even press charges.

Does TJ even know if he could steal the chips while she's in the shower? Knowing Tay, she probably has the chips inside the shower with her.

TJ and Shinji have been asking the freeloaders to help them steal Tay's chips. They agree to do so if they get the chance. I don't like the freeloaders being able to gain up on one fish, really takes the fun and fairness from game.

That said, I think it will be hard to take her chips since she keeps them inside her clothes.
