This is going to sound mean but i do think it would be hilarious if they did just straight up abandon Tay. go full bangbus and throw her out in the middle of nowhere naked.

At the end of season one Jet claimed that Caminos was his favorite bit. The guy that nobody even remembers. Jet sucks and hasn't learned anything. That isn't going to change.I’m surprised no one mentioned this but Jet telling Brian during the finale that he was his favorite just shows how incredibly out of touch he is.
No idea how any of you can stand to watch just a single minute of this utter slop.
His NPC task was to walk around slowly and eliminate someone from a round if he caught them and do -1 point. Because the rules had changes no less than 4 times over the course of the finale he was only used once by Tay on Shinji when she did both Brian and a curse. The rules changed and you could only do one NPC action per round rather than one action per NPC per round the obvious game mechanic to exploit was just continuously cast curses over and over. Had the original mechanic remained where you could use each NPC service once per round she probably could have roleplayed immunity from curses from Fatty each round in the way TJ negiotiated chips from Fatty, but since everything in the show is so halfassed they didn't bother to sit down and write out rules in advance, not to mention Tay was so burned out and frustrated that I doubt she could even muster the willpower to deal with anything that wasn't formally structured. There was a brief period where Tay managed to rally and surpass Shinji only for her to be blindsided by Fatty giving TJ enough chips for 3 curses on her which sent her into oblivion as she suffered two rounds in a row of getting double cursed.Did Brian do a single interesting thing in his short time back during the finale?
The final week of the show is probably the most insane shit I've ever seen in a "production." The house was just a desiccated ruin full of rubble, foul smelling carpets and jaded, hostile people. They would be forcibly awoken at noon only to do absolutely nothing but sit and stare at the walls doing modest chitchatting and dozing until 5am when they went to sleep, just to repeat the process for nearly 4 days straight. Tay would just chain smoke cigarettes until she ran out while walking back and forth between rooms just to burn off excess energy, she couldn't even do the basic boxing training she was taught because every room of the house was covered in wood, paint, drywall and nails. Tay went from being the undisputed front runner acknowledged by all to a shadow of herself in the finale dropping many events she normally would have been able to handle, and thats not to point out the fact she was baited into getting shitfaced drunk the night before by Sam for an advantage in the finale only to have Frank get too handsy.I think I've just been grumpy for the past week of Fishtank but the ending sucked to me. Skipping over Frank in the curtain call (of sorts) was funny.
Maybe I have rose-tinted glasses but I don't feel like the highs of season 2 surpassed season 1's and its lows, which drug out for hours or days, were abysmal. When season 1 ended and everyone walked out the back door I thought, "Huh... now what?" and was kinda sad it was over. With season 2 I've counted the days for 2 weeks and was wanting them to hurry things along but didn't want to tune out since I was curious how they'd attempt to salvage this season and how it'd compare to season 1's save by Sam. Well they never really saved it and it was a boring day. I feel bad for Tay but honestly don't care that she lost, she was deliberately screwed over by production as far as I'm concerned. Brian showed up because Jet liked him and that's literally the only reason he's there which is a great reflection of what Jet is all about.
A terrible season that I think is more representative of what Fishtank is and will be than season 1 where they got incredibly lucky on top of having an incredible cast. I'll probably just pop in here and there for season 3 but can't see myself caring all too much anymore.
Josie's experience in S1 is absolutely incomparable to the insanity of S2. Even people like Fatty and Tai who were there for S1 admit that S2 was far more taxing mentally on the fish than the worst days of S1. The cast was the strongest feature of S2 and they were continously ridden hard and put away wet daily and the production crew whining about them being uninteresting outside of challenges was insulting given that they weren't given food beyond loot crate Ramen that they were eating dry and grits for weeks. The S1 crew had shortages of alcohol, the S2 crew had no fucking food for weeks.41 days of torture like she did.
I disagree, I think the cast was just fine, it was production choices that would isolate, frustrate and drive the best fish into deplorable states of mind that would frustrate them into quitting or spaz the fuck out in the case of Jimmy. Summer and Megan can just be written off as too mentally unstable, JC was the first victim of the dogpile for her chip stealing antics and she just left. Cole was the next victim of the attack therapy shit and he got frustrated when osctracized and kept venting at how halfassed the show was and because they were just repeating stuff from S1 a lot, Jimmy was denied medication for weeks and only right as he started stabilizing on them he got focused by Ben and Jet into an extremely foul mood and targeted by other fish. Tay is the only one to survive multiple dogpiles and come out strong after them but she just couldn't carry the entire fucking show on her back as even Sam was largely checked out from following or participating in it, let alone the halfassing from Jet and Ben. The more entertaining, and interesting the fish was the more they were ridden into the ground and destroyed. No casting agency will be able to prevent this, they have delusions they're going to get a full roster of people motivated like Tay and Danye but in reality they're going to get a bunch of JC who are there for a bit of fame and will walk off when asked to force themselves to vomit during a hotdog eating challenge. In both S1 and S2 the MDE fans were the ones that did the most debased things for entertainment of the audience.Fun show. I think the highs this season were higher for me, but it was even more of a shit show overall than last season. As much as I want to blame Jet, the problem was mostly the casting. All the likable fish this season were literal losers in every sense of the word. The winners were losers too, and boring unlikeable ones.
This is the issue with S2. It was funny in S1 when it was a new and untested concept. The goal of the show is to be entertaining but there needs to be structure and a well thought out calendar of events for literally each day and large segments of each day blocked out in advance with challenges that directly occupy the time like the Triatholon or The Cell, and then challenges that are given to take time during periods that are blocked out for the fish to be themselves and do entertaining things. The final two weeks of the show were just entirely improv from Fatty and Oliver doing their currency/point things with Tay doing literally all of the Jet missions to fuck over other contestants on to find herself getting fucked when the results got overturned when she chose to use them against Jet's favorite TJ instead of the expected Trish she was feuding with. The biggest weakness is no structure, no rules. Nothing makes sense. That can be funny when done sparingly, but when it is 5 weeks of nonsense everyone gets sick of it, contestants and viewers.
Sam: "Yadda yadda INITIATIVE"lol at everyone who said the game wasn't rigged against Tay. Sam just confirmed Tay wasn't considered to win because she became unlikable. Reminder: All the boring shit that happened this season is because Sam and the Wiggers don't understand what makes the show work. They discourage making content on their show and then complain.
I like how they didn’t let curses stack because they expected TJ and Shinji to play competitively. The first thing Shinji did was waste chips to spite Tay. This after Sam was annoyed by how easily TJ let his chips go. Two most retarded fish in Tank history.
Sam may have just bruised TJ’s tailbone. It looks like a rough landing.
On a side note, if we count Summer that's three contestant asses destroyed by the end of the season. Almost 4 were it not for Doc's interventionLooks like he hurt Shinji's tailbone as well.
More or less. The joke is at our expense.Whenever I read this thread, I feel like people are just making shit up and everyone is in on a big practical joke.
