Overall the winner was more decided by Shinji and Tay failing rather than Tj winning.

I don't think anyone will have a sturdy income after this ,maybe Shinji.
I enjoyed season 2 more than season 1. The cast was better overall but the fish have not been managed well by production.

The swamp olympics was a shit show at the end but I applaud the idea.
The theme and clothes are a great idea.
They should have given a rest day to the fish before the finale. A clean room, clean clothes, no mogging and good food. Just so they are not completely exausted in the finale.

I still think they should hire an editor, viewers and a voice actor to do daily/ weekly recaps.
We need to have clear rules for elimination.
Production should have a red word system like in umineko. That way they can communicate clearly to the fishes with no risk of them thinking it's gaslighting.
When it comes to fish management, the production should stop coddling them past a certain point and let the TTS go all out on them. Like Meg should have add a better exit.

Overall the TTS has been way funnier.

See you in season 3.

That's how you win this show. S1 and S2 ended the same way. You do as little as possible, everyone else around you burns out, and you coast to victory. S3 will end the exact same way, mark my words.

I know Sam mentioned hiring a casting agency next season but I kind of hope they don't. Getting the autistic rejects of society on the show is part of the charm. Sure if they get a bunch of fame hungry California normies the conversation might flow better but you're not gonna get "Jimmy fucks dogs", Lubecooch, or Summer freaking out. Those are the reasons people watch the show. If I wanted to watch people flirt on reality TV I'd watch any other reality show.

They should instead take time to plan things out better. Create challenges that will help the fish show their personalities for the first week or 2 and allow them to open up. Maybe give them something to do during the day.

Anyway, I enjoyed the show mostly because sneedchat makes it fun so I'll definitely be there with you all next season.

I think people have been overly negative this season. When facts come to facts, the cast was overall more interesting and the show had a lot more highs than lows compared to the first season. I think people romanticize season 1 too much and really pretends it's so much better while not watching season 2 but going on about it being so "bad". Like season 1, freeloaders save the day and the freeloaders were much better and no, just because a freeloader is unlikeable doesn't mean they're a bad addition. Nifty and dungay were exactly what the fish needed to create content.
It's literally been like this season like the end of week 1, people just being overly negative complaining that this is the worst season, this season is so bad, the show can't recover from this, etc. It's honestly obnoxious. Unless you're a josie simp, I think only Letty really made season 1 good. The end of season 1 was literally just as bad and unplanned and josie winning was the shittier ending. I think criticizing this season for not being better than season 1, as far as production and planning goes, is definitely a valid complaint but it seems some people think that because they haven't improved that the show somehow can't be entertaining.

I think people will likely look back at this season more fondly when they they start looking at it the same way they view season 1, which is remembering all the highlights and forgetting all of the boring gay shit that makes up 80% of the show. JET IT UP!

They botched everything so hard this season I don't mind them trying something different for S3. Might as well. Maybe they'll even learn something, probably not but I can dream.

Fuck it, I feel like dumping some good Greg edits from twitter. The true winner of season 2.

Honestly, the casting was way better in s2 but the reason I'm so disappointed is how production squandered it. Just check out the compilations people are posting now. Jimmy, Tay, Cole and Shinji created some great entertaining moments for the audience. Instead of letting that continue, production decided to push and torture all the interesting people until they broke down and left the tank or became traumatized husks of who they were.

Tay was the only one to persevere under that kind of pressure and continue to make interesting moments and they engineered it so that she lost precisely for doing what production was seeking from her. Everyone was set up to fail for Jets sadistic pleasure, so instead of seeing genuinely interesting and real people be hilarious and entertaining we instead watched those same relatable people be broken and humiliated in the most Jewish ways imaginable.

A stark example of what lost potential is.

Whenever I read this thread, I feel like people are just making shit up and everyone is in on a big practical joke.
It's unbelievable how hard they've fucked up. Both in terms of the contestants and production. They had half a year in between the seasons to plan stuff out, as well as to edit season 1. Instead they left both of those to be done at the last minute, editing season 1 before season 2 started and releasing it every week, and deciding to wing season 2 like the previous one, claiming that it's organic or leads to better content, which is obviously bullshit since it led to shitty, low effort challenges, or in the last week to barely anything occurring at all until the finale, the contestants literally spent like 5 days just laying around with nothing being done by production, who had clearly given up by this point.

I'd say that the casting this season was better than the last one, with only 4 being flukes:
-Summer: Too mentally unstable for the show
-Meg: Fat, quit taking her anti-depressants so she could drink alcohol, once Jimmy had a freakout she immediately broke down and left even though it wasn't directed at her
-JC: Normie who had no idea what Fishtank was, only joined to have a place to stay over winter break inbetween semesters
-TJ: Porn addict retard who can barely speak, wants to be creampied by horses, and to see his mom and imaginary daughter get creampied by horses. He got coddled into winning, would've been eliminated previously if not for the coddling allowing him to survive eliminations. He was a total pushover with no original thoughts, having to be pushed by others and the TTS into doing anything, 0 growth during the season, but he's the favorite character outside of KF.

The rest of the cast was good/alright, only for production to fuck up. The show went through arcs, during which one of the contestants was the main character, with the content being centred around them, including the production targeting and dogpiling them:

-Summer was the first main character, with her freakouts and quick mental degradation being the highlight of the fishtank during her short time there, was kicked off for being too crazy, proceeded to have a total breakdown outside, being sent to a mental hospital and sending Jet a shitton of voicemails, simultaneously claiming that she was and wasn't raped (This 'rape' was a man in glasses pinning her down, taking her clothes off, and groping her breasts, according to her), later got contacted by Channing Creager and is now claiming to have been anally raped in the basement despite also claiming to have been drugged unconscious and not remembering anything while also claiming that the cameraguy was emotionlessly crying.

-Cole: A likable autist. Production forced a dogpile onto him, leaving him alone versus everyone else, this wasn't what he wanted and he was ready to quit, resulting in him being coddled and agreeing to stay until the dogpile fucked with him, leading to him sperging out about season 1, Sam came in, told him to shut the fuck up, and then Ben told him to pack his shit and that there's a replacement coming in. Afterwards production has claimed that he wasn't kicked off and left on his own accord.

-Jimmy: A crazy, edgy, mentally unstable dude, despite being cringe often, he was the most entertaining and content producing contestant during his time in the spotlight, but also the most prone to outbursts and violence, so what does the production do? Spend an entire day sending him TTS and SFX fucking with him, then instruct one of the contestants to destroy a toy phone he developed an attachment to and would larp as the G-Man from Half-Life with, leading to him assaulting her and getting kicked.

-Lastly, Tayleigh: Perhaps their biggest fuckup when it comes to the contestants, she entered more timid and unwilling to fuck with others to win, hoping to coast along to the finale instead. She was confronted by Sam early on about this, and said she was unwilling to fuck with others to win, almost crying. She proceeded to transform into the best contestant of this season, taking the most initiative and being the most aggressive when it came to fucking with others, going out of her way to fuck with them, (e.g. barricading Airsoftfatty, a fat retard, inside of a small crawlspace by nailing the entrance shut with boards, he proceeded to have a panic attack and freakout before being let out by production, creating one of the best moments this season, stealing all of TJ's chips during the finale, fucking with Frank). Her reward for this? Being dogpiled by everyone in the house and fucked over during the finale with challenges such as making your supporters shave their heads, before being outright eliminated, leaving TJ and Shinji to fight for the 50k. At least she won the most money outside of the finale so she's not leaving empty handed (Won like 17k, but had 4k deducted in a challenge where they had to single out one contestant to lose 4k and have it split between the other 2)

The other 3 contestants, Trish, Brian, and Shinji were alright in retrospect.
-Shinji was the best of them, while not a main character, he was still very entertaining and great at challenges, doing shit such as emptying the entire living room of all there was in it while everyone in there slept, or being very interactive with TTS and talking to the camera a lot. He got fucked over some time before the finale by having his glasses forcefully taken and broken, leaving him in pain and unable to compete at the same level as before. He managed to be very likable and charming despite being a giga-coomer who came to America to go to college so he can hopefully advance virtual reality tech so he can one day live in a porno-Matrix.
-Brian was very willing to win, while coming off as a bitchy coward plotting away with the others in a room against Cole, it was in retrospect smart of him to eliminate the most popular at the time contestant, he was eliminated needlessly by a poll (Which isn't actual voting, but via tokens, so a whale contest).
-Trish, while weakest of these 3, still managed to produce content with others while never being the main character, she slutted herself out this season (Fucking Brian twice, getting reverse cowgirled by a 400lb man dressed as Santa, allowing herself to be led around on a leash and fed out of peoples hand, twerking for people, etc). She was aware of her being the weakest contestant left and agreeing to stay as a freeloader instead of being eliminated and sent back home.

tl;dr The production self-sabotaged the show as much as possible out of sheer incompetence

At the end of season one Jet claimed that Caminos was his favorite bit. The guy that nobody even remembers. Jet sucks and hasn't learned anything. That isn't going to change.
I thought the Caminos bit was funny the first time because of how obviously annoyed everyone was while Jon leaned in doing Tate-hands and asking questions at every opportunity further slowing the process. But then they brought him back. It's obvious that they sat down and did minor brainstorming for challenges and stuff, and a loose narrative. But it's almost as if they underestimate how much time they really have to fill, then just put it on some random tard like Fatty to keep viewers and fish occupied. It worked out better last season because the fish were individually more interesting and funny in my opinion. Once they lost Cole and Jimmy, the momentum became even more shit.

I enjoyed the season for the most part. But all my favorite parts were from before the last couple weeks. Highlights for me were the detective Cole arc and when Jimmy got his CD's back. Hopefully they take time and find a really good cast (non-MDE) and plan more in advance for next season. Fishtank has tons of potential and is for sure a money printing machine for Sam and Jet. I just hope they prioritize focusing on the quality of the product over quantity of profit and don't just throw 10 more tards in a house with little gameplan in 6 months.

There is also the issue I brought up earlier in the thread about California aspiring actors not wanting to be on the show once they realize it's associated with Sam Hyde. Using weirdo internet freaks it wasn't something they ever really had to worry about. The first thing that comes up when you google Sam Hyde his connection to the alt-right.

I have extremely mixed feelings about season 2. Overall I enjoyed it but it was extremely flawed for many different reasons. The most entertaining fish burned out too fast. There were too many freeloaders who didn't do anything. There weren't nearly as many funny or creative challenges. The gaslighting ended up being a negative in the end because they all just didn't believe a word production told them.

I can't blame production for it all though. There were so many times they tried to set up bits that actually had potential but for one reason or another they almost immediately failed. Joker Jimmy, King Cole, and having everyone locked in the goon cave all come to mind. It felt to me like at some point they sort of just gave up and stopped trying because absolutely all of their stuff was failing.

I can't complain about the winner. I think he deserved it. He had some great moments and actually went through a lot of shit so it didn't feel like they just cut him a check because he was a cash cow like they did with Josie in season 1. I feel really bad for Tayleigh though. I feel like she humiliated herself worse than any other fish in history for basically nothing.

In next season I'd like to see actual firm rules in place so the fish can strategize and actually play a game. That within itself would create drama and tension. In this season you could tell all the fish half assed things because they never knew if they were being lied to or not. They need to have much less freeloaders too. I feel like one of the problems was the fish couldn't show their personalities and interact with tts 1 on 1 much because the house was constantly filled with people. In season 1 it really helped build passionate fanbases because the fish would constantly breakaway and go to a room alone to have conversations with their fans. I'd much rather have that than I would have boring freeloaders who do nothing like Oliver and Delaney.

I hate hate HATED Tay's cringey ways but the way she was basically forced to lose in the most inorganic way possible was really anti-climactic. It just kills all tension when I as a viewer feel that the contestants I'm watching don't have any control over their odds of winning.

In the end, production was so outstandingly brain damaged that they accidentally rigged the game in favor of the retard, and accidently gave the person who would have won if production wasn't retarded brain damage.
I don't think it was an accident, Sam was in the room when TJ bought chips off Fatty (and even negotiated Fatty down from 10k to 3k) and also Sam was heavily against giving Shinji and Tay a redo on the sled challenge
