The protagonist's thing is his family was raped and killed so in his grief he conquered the world and then raped it up and tried to implement high fantasy gommunism, but then he got old and couldn't rape so much anymore and was deposed by his tyrannical vassals. He then gets deaged as an octogenarian via divine intervention during a suicide attempt and then sets out to atone for his past evil by killing bad people/gommunists. Along the way he acquires magic powers which allow him to view souls so the people he kills are ontologically evil. It's a baldfaced morally incoherent power fantasy centered around a Mary Sue character both able to commit violence and rape without consequence beyond maudlin self-recrimination while still maintaining a position of moral righteousness.

EVS used to tell stories about his dad, he thought they were funny but they always sounded like child abuse.

Having read One Dirty Tree it's sort of interesting contrasting Frog's stories growing up with Noah's. Noah was the baby of the family so a lot went down that seems to have gone over his head. Noah for example doesn't mention that Holliday's night job trying to make ends meet as a dimebag weed dealer (presumably he never knew), but Frog tells the story of how Jersey goombas would come by when he was busting out caricatures at the mall and hang out with him only to realize in retrospect that it was an implicit threat for his father to start paying what he owes them, starting his lifelong fascination with the mob.

It's amusing to see EVS try in vain to bait a reaction from FNT when they've spent two and a half years ignoring him almost entirely after the famous "zeroes" comment.
The consensus in this thread at the time was basically that Ethan was right: FNT was pretty much Gary's Home for Irrelevant YouTubers and the only thing they produce is tired, room temperature culture war takes. I mean, Ethan is a petty faggot but at least he makes an actual product, right?

When Ethan called the FNT crew "zeroes" in July of 2021, he had a subscriber count of 145k. As of this writing, that hasn't changed.
In July of 2021, Gary had 344k subscribers. He currently has 961k subscribers.
Ethan has yet to fulfill a campaign he launched 6 months before the "zeroes" incident. Requests for refunds are piling up, his YouTube channel is completely stagnant, he's involved in a pathetic one way feud with Eric July, spending hours and hours literally coping and seething to the same audience he's had for years.

Meanwhile, Gary's channel has tripled its audience, closing in on a million subs and FNT pulls in 10 times the views of Frog's pathetic copestreams. Many of Gary's zeroes have also experienced profound channel growth since July 2021 (idiots like Az and Ryan Kinel now have double Ethan's subs).
Pathetically, the FNT crew's nonexistent product is far more popular than Ethan's now nonexistent product, and a hell of a lot more satisying to its audience.

EVS is physically incapable of telling the truth about anything at this point.
I liked it when he was here and we got the occasional hot gossip or DM drop, but he's too backed into a corner now and he just keeps lying about literally everything. Better to watch him from afar without having him derail the thread.

I see his Tim Pool appearances from last year as the tipping point. He thought that he was going to go on there, without an active campaign, use talking points from 2017, sperg about his unimpressive frog book and win over a massive new audience. Instead he got Tim Pool talking about Tim Lim, Wall Might and manga.

He tried changing his content for a couple of days after that, didn't see a short term improvement in his metrics and doubled down on his old shit, stagnating once again. Very Rekieta of him, trying to course correct for a couple of days, only to give up immediately.

He's completely broken. The reason he keeps talking about the real CG being 2-3 people, other than his unearned sense of entitlement, is that he knows the money isn't there to sustain multiple 100k campaigns anymore.
