This is similar to what I thought of it. The info in tonight's Trashcast #12 was garbage. It just proves your private groups in Ethan's Comicsgate are not private and that these people like Patrick and Matt Fowler got under Ethan's skin. Trashcast #11 on the other hand had the most damning clip so far in the Patrick Thomas Parnell saga at the timestamp is a video shown called The PTP addendum where artist Alex Sanchez a college classmate of Patrick's goes off on him saying that Patrick took credit on his resume for a series and editorial work that Alex Sanchez did. This is among other things, but stealing credit from a so called friend to lie on your art resume, way to go PTP!

All these guys are fakes. After breaking with EVS, Yellow Flash is suddenly sucking up to a guy he considered and called out as CG Satan for years. As far as Doug goes: Dax has talked about how he and Doug have habr the most funny conversations about homosexuality. Doug these days also seems to even pal around with Vito.

As far as Doug's involvement in comics, ever since he showed up around youtube, his goal was always to grow an audience large enough to allow him to reach critical mass as a political grifter. The comics were always a means to an end. With that end accomplished, he discarded them. Doug is a shallow, cynical, manipulative, amoral asshole.

• Shitting on the community aspect of CG. If you think it's a community, you're a fag, this is a business (paraphrasing). Another day, another L for the nobodies defending EVS and Malin. Get wrecked, losers.

Doug tried for several years to become a political youtuber with a large following. He tried alot of trad christian, anti-gay and culture war grifts. But right after the 2020 election, he discovered the Qanon/Trump/election thing and went all in. He went in (IMO) not as any kind of believer, but ruthlessly and cynically exploiting those people to build an audience for himself. The size of his audience exploded and he started mass producing "stupid" low-effort content for them.

He is a grifter because (a) I don't think he believes what he is saying, (b) he puts no effort into his content (c) he is clearly farming these people for views & money. (d) Its all he does now.

I'm not unsympathic to right-wing or pro-trump content. Doug is also a very talented guy. But his content now is shit. He could do way better or put more effort into it but doing better isn't what it seems to be about. Its about e-celebrity, ego and money for Doug.
