In the start it works, but by now I'm just waiting for Fern and Stark to finally fuck, have a baby and probably die before the journey end with Frieren taking care of the next generation :(
I mean I get it, just personally I don't mind. It's the journey that captures me. It's one of the most beautiful stories I've ever seen, and borderline family friendly if not for all the blood. Also the dub slaps.

It will be sad when Fern dies. Poor girl basically has the entire premise be one giant death flag so Frieren will have the experience of a human life from start to the end and continuation.

Oh I see that happening, being a big moment for our wise old elf. Granny fern will be adorable tho if she dies from age.

Sadly the death flag is that she dies at most few years after childbirth. With the obvious "she experienced more in her 25 years than I had over a thousand years".
I don’t see it happening. A big thing with a lot of current nip fantasy writers is more sweet than bitter, bittersweet endings.

Dungeon Meshi did it well and my guess is that the actual plot will be Frieren killing the Demon King for real, but being wounded enough that she dies from her injuries… in like three decades. Grandma Frieren is gonna die on a park bench as she watches her Fern and Stark’s grandchildren play.

Blackened Skin City Gyaru's Mom: Slutty to the extreme, makeup like a whore clown, just as degenerated as her spawn, lazy, divorced.
Lily White Snow Gyaru's Mom: Coquettish, sensibly dressed, little makeup, a good role model, capable, happily married.

Don't forget the red hair. For once a ginger wasn't blacked.

Anybody got recs for mecha anime? I've been watching a lot of Gundam recently, I enjoy the real robot side of things but G Gundam is my favorite of the series so I'm more of a super robot manchild. Either way, I'd appreciate anybody who'd introduce me to something they personally really like and want to share.

Full Metal Panic is pretty damn good. There's the first season, Fumoffu, The Second Raid, and Invisible Victory. Notably, Kyoto Animation did Fumoffu and The Second Raid.

Also, Fumoffu isn't at all required to understand the plot of the rest of the series, and has almost nothing to do with any of it aside from using the characters, but my sides were in orbit pretty much every episode.

Oh yeah, and the title and ending themes by Mikuni Shimokawa are nostalgic as fuck.

There's also the classics like Gunbuster and Diebuster. Short and to the point with both, and completely batshit space battles.

Knights of Sidonia
Season 1 has a banger opening which gives an idea of the plot.
