OK, last response. I'm sure people must be bored of this so if anyone is really interested in my relationship with pornography, they should slide into my DM's.
Perhaps it's my autism at work here, but I don't understand why. Without attempting to power level too much here, I had a professional interest in deviant subcultures. The people who make pornography used to be a really interesting subculture. Less so these days, I think. It's barely marginalized at all, these days -- given that you've got Christian lawyers suggesting to single mothers that selling their gash on OnlyFans is a viable career option when it comes to supporting their kids.
Luke Ford's site was particularly interesting. Luke was a convert to Judaism, but was simultaneously obsessed with porn and the porn industry. His obsession and his website somehow got him a foot in the door, but he was simultaneously horrified and sexually excited by what he found when he looked behind the curtain. I'm grateful to Luke for introducing me to the idea of 'suitcase pimps'. These are the sexual partners of the women who work in the porn industry. They tend call themselves 'managers' or 'agents' but in effect, their actual job is to carry the woman's bags on and off the set.
But Luke himself was this weird, porn-addled coomer, yet he believed the industry was foul -- he could see exactly how foul it was. Exploitative men taking advantage of drug addicted, damaged women. Using them up and spitting them out. At the same time as he's reporting on the industry, he's taking instruction from a rabbi to undergo a conversion, so he was always threatening to stop reporting (and eventually he did, but before he did he would just repeat what the porn stars told him, about which company had fucked them over and how, which suitcase pimp was cheating on his ho, etc. etc.)
Point being, it gave me a lot of insight into the industry, but it didn't make the product seem attractive at all.
OK, on reflection it turns out that I wasn't being completely accurate. At some point, I watched a brief clip from a Max Hardcore video. Fuck me dead, that shit was much more horrifying than Goatse or 2G1C. The idea that there were thousands of men out there, masturbating to depictions of the oral and anal rape of barely post-pubescent children was quite the most disturbing thing I've ever seen. If anything was going to put me off pornography it was that greasy, sleazy motherfucker mugging it up for the camera while throat fucking a pair of half-witted pick-me's in school uniforms. Shit, the whole thing made Goatse.cx look wholesome by comparison.
I still keep an eye on
