Rocksteady teases Suicide Squad game

Woke writing never makes any sense. Batman is nearly immune to Scarecrow's fear toxin by this point. And Harley is nowhere close to bright enough to make her own. Not to mention Scarecrow was turned into a gibbering idiot by his own fear toxin at the end of Knight.
How is she even mixing this new batch? They literally just got into the Batcave, made a B-Line to the big chamber, get gassed and Harley instantly goes 'Okay, so if we turn on these random terminals around the Batcave, they'll automatically create my brand of fear gas without any input from me.'. Wouldn't that just make more of Batman's fear gas?

Also, the Bat cave actually looks pretty cool in this game, and would be fun to traverse... So, of course, they decided to make this level entirely about being in almost complete darkness and slowly walking around on the ground.
And the fuck do you mean "Everyone knew his voice"? She's talking about Batman, most people in-universe barely ever saw him at all, let alone heard him talk. Even the bullshit tribute script was half-assed.
Why is his message addressed specifically to Metropolis? Shouldn't it be to Gotham, or at least the world? It's made clear that Metropolis isn't the only city being hit by the invasion.

the sad part about the Conroy thing is this is damage control. I bet he probably has a sizable role in Caped Crusader probably as a guest episode like Adam West is in BTAS, but we know damn well he'll probably have one line of dialogue in Crisis Part 3 and it's just going to be I am vengeance I am the night I am Batman and they probably pulled it from BTAS and are scrambling to add it in right now. everybody liked BTAS but really the he's the definitive Batman being the universal opinion came with Arkham Asylum, it would have eventually anyway but that first game is when everyone unanimously agreed he's fuckin' Batman. so they shit on that version. I don't give a shit if they kill the JLA in a game called that, good I'd prefer they really do otherwise the title is bullshit. I care that they insisted on making it Arkhamverse and not it's own thing.

I already personally thought Arkham Knight's story goes off the rails halfway and has a shitty ending, however it's an ending that isn't disrespectful to the character I just dislike it. If Gotham Knights was another universe (that story was also awful) why wasn't this? why would it make any sense to set a game where the premise is killing the JLA not in it's own universe? let alone the fact apparently you don't even do that because they're bringing them back in DLC. fuck you.

the game also looks like shit that AI is disgusting. and this pozzed ass writing is horrible. I like mean spirited stuff when it's funny, this is faggot shit. the JLA is maybe my favorite fictional group of characters and I can't stress enough the premise of killing them off is fine, but like this? god damn dude.

Going to be a bit autistic here, but...

I think this is honestly a viewpoint most of us here share. I mean, darker stories can certainly be fun, but having something be pointlessly mean-spirited and depressing for the sake of edginess and woke points is not the way to go.

As stated here previously, a lot of this shit seems to stem from the obsession with "deconstructionism"/hedonism that so much of the woke world is obsessed with these days. I mean; hot take, deconstructions can be interesting if done well, but in the hands of these woketards, it's less "examine components of the story and show consequences" and more make everything sad and depressing, no happiness allowed!!!1!"

Seriously, what's with the obsession with making everything miserable these days? What happened to people making things for the sake of fun, or for the sake of a good story? Where did everything turn into this?
Because its fundamentally that "tourist" have come in and are running the show now. They only got the surface level highlights on everything and being so creative bankrupt they went with the easiest option while not even trying to understand the deeper tones of the characters.

Like I only really watched the Batman 90s cartoons but that show stressed multiple times that Batman really does care about people. Sure he comes off dark, brooding, aloof, and a terror but the dude legit does care about broken people and wants them to be better.

It is almost like the nu-Rocksteady never saw that Batman Animated Series episode "Lock-Up" which shows how much Batman does care about people, even his rouges gallery, and wants them to get better. However, we are dealing with a generation of writers who have been utterly buck broken by their communist professors and believe anybody that is rich and fights back against mentally ill criminals that kill people are agents of Satan.

I think this page from the Injustice comics sums it up perfectly:

This title of this clip is so accurate, and just makes the fact that this game was originally supposed to be a Superman one even sadder.
Say what you want, but at least Rocksteady did understand who Superman really was. That underneath all his inhuman strength, and power, he was just a wholesome farm boy from Kansas.
This clip alone shows that they fucking knew what people wanted, and that makes what we got even worse. It wasn't just them doing it on accident to push edge, they maliciously shit on every hero they could. The only reason they didn't do Wonder Woman dirty was because of what's between her legs.

G4 Reportedly Asked Potential Hosts To Argue In Favor Of “Cancelling” Batman “Because He’s Rich And He’s White”

From there, the streamer recalled how after being offered a host position by G4, she was eventually invited to go through the network’s formal interview process, during which “the guy who was interviewing me asked ‘So, why should we cancel Batman’?”
“I was like, ‘Wait, what?'” continued MissClick, “And he’s like “Yeah, why do you believe we should cancel Batman?'”

“I asked ‘Why are we cancelling Batman?’ and he’s like ‘Cuz he’s rich and he’s white'” she said. “I was like, ‘What do those two have to do with each other?’ and he said ‘Yeah, people just believe that he skates on the law and that if someone of color did the same exact thing they wouldn’t get away with it like he does.'”
They know who the audience for this game is, it's the people who were doing the hiring at G4.

There’s a native PC version…

It also has a thriving modding community, with cool shit like a fully-connected map of Springfield, new missions and even other playable characters!

If I had to guess why they didn’t use the Crime Syndicate, it’s probably because the LEGO DC Supervillains game already had them as the main antagonists, and Rocksteady didn’t wanna feel like they were copying them.

Why didn't they just use the Crime Syndicate, especially if they want to do the post game multiverse shit. Hell use part of the plot from Forever Evil event to explain why the Justice League aren't there.
That wouldn't own the chuds at all. It has to be the Batman you know and love from the Arkham games or the whole concept just doesn't work. If anything, the post game content should have them go to the Reeve-Superman and West-Batman universes so they can kill them and urinate on their corpses too.

You can actually feel how much hatred was poured into this game. These writers and developers really found every avenue they could to shit all over DC fans.

On top of all the disrespect to every character, the entire game is incredibly difficult to look at. You can't tell me the people who left Rocksteady months before its release were not deeply disturbed by what they had done. Killing Batman that way in front of millions of people who would be buying the game or watching it on YT...I cannot even fathom these people are sleeping well after this. Like, this is their gift to the world. Fucking turds, all of them. I hope they all die alone and afraid.

I do.
Killing the JL is one hell of an order, so you better do it right.
This isn't the Titans or some C roster; you're writing a story where you take on the A & S tier heroes. If you don't have a vision, why set yourself up for failure like this? Asylum had a vision, City had a vision, Knight had a vision.

Agreed. Outside of MMOs, there's zero reason why a game needs to be purely online especially if it is a single-player only game. Only a retarded managerial type would think of something always being online unnecessarily as a plus. The reddit and woke shit are just the pus frosting on top of the shit cake of bad gameplay, bad mechanics and just bad business practices.
Only time I've seen the required online connection shit in a single player game used proper is Genshin Impact, where it basically works like a constant auto-save function. If the game fucking crashes? No worries, boot that shit back up you'll be like around right by where you were. have an issue and dc mid cutscene? no issue, boot the game backup and when you load in it'll start up again with a brief text recap of the cutscene that happened before it in case you were off the game long enough to forget where you were. Literally just done with playing? turn off, turn on, load back in where you were before you shut off the game. There's exploits to get around this auto save involving fucking with your own wifi but people don't really have any need for that unless they want to exploit some loading glitch. Even then I wish there was an option to play offline considering they have a 'save and quit" button on the menu.

"haha look at this right wing conspiracy theorist talking about this corporation!"
IS LITERALLY IN THE CORPORATION AND PROVING HIM RIGHT WITH HOW THEY ACT.
