Tuned into Dave's stream and heard two things

1. He wants an aquarium for some reason. He can barely take care of a cat's litter box, like fuck he can change an aquarium's water.
2. Flat out said he doesn't see himself ever retiring, which is obvious since he has zero savings. More hinting at DSPahlitics in the future, which is only interesting since Phil's poetical opinions so far have been contradictory and the only constant is whatever personally benefits him at the moment.

Late GenY or GenZ would crawl over broken glass to become a Youtuber. Its not a punishment its the dream job of the new generation. Even when you factor in all the pushback from creators that the job isn't as glamorous as its made out this doesn't really apply to Dave because he does the absolute easiest bottom of the barrel type of content. Playthroughs and ReACKt. Which have none of the massive timesinking and effort of other Youtube videos where people spend hours or days on. Phil basically just hits record and then presses stop after he finishes.

The last four streams combined didn't even break the $140 mark in total, so expect a very hard guilt-trip today during the pre-stream. Since he's not forcing people to watch his utterly boring Like A Dragon or Tekken 8 playthrough today, but is playing Baldur's Gate instead, I'm sure (one of) the usual whales will fork over the needed cash to make the piggy happy again.

It's a punishment, because Phil hates it. He is so hellbent on doing this because this is all Phil knows and he knows that all he has to do is waddle down to his office, complain about how his life is hard, and sitting down in his mature adult office to "work". He wants something for nothing and Hogan's for free.

People that stream and/or do YouTube are natural entertainers. Some get lucky and make money, but people do it because they're natural entertainers. Phil isn't entertaining, instead, he's an idiot that got paid VERY well because he abused the system early on to make money. It's been mentioned before that if Phil gave even a hint of a fuck about about his "business", he could've been in the Mount Rushmore of other YouTubers past and present. He could've been successful! He could've had MAJOR brand deals knocking at his door if he JUST gave a fuck about his "hobby". If he paid people to edit his slop, if he didn't burn bridges with his early fans, burn bridges with John, Howard, and Respect The Pack, etc...and even just had a hint of retrospective to become a decent person, he would've been massively wealthy. However, that is not the REElity of the situation: he is a 41 year old shut in that can barely crack 2,000 views on a video and had to plead and beg to actual retards to support him with their SSI/SSDI checks.

In Phil's mind, he did nothing wrong. He did everything correct.

Cognitive dissonance is a hell of a thing.

BTW: I dunno if it’s an algorithm thing or if Phil doesn’t know how to use keywords, but if you search for DSP on YouTube, it’s all detractors and clip channels.

Only if you write “darksydephil” does his channel appear.

I don't think thats weird at all. Detractor videos get way more engagement than Phil so they will rise high depending on how well they cover a given variation of his name. When Youtube does intervene in terms of tweaking the algorithm its in his favor as his channel is placed on the top in some searches because the algorithm recognizes he is the subject despite his piss poor metrics. If it was straight popularity and quality of engagement his channel probably wouldn't be on the top in any search and maybe even be moved off the front page in some instances. You saw more of this before youtube adjusted the algorithm a few years ago. His channel was below detractor vids in most searches. After the adjustment his channel was magically pinned on top on most but not all variations. Yet another system Phil shits on constantly doing him a solid.

Well the thing that strikes me as weird is that when you search for “darksydephil”, his channel is right at the top.

“DSP” on the other hand, and he’s drowned by detractors.

Anyways, Phil and BG3 has met the first tipgoal but he seems stuck at around 68 dollars.

Not nearly enough to pay for all the gacha, and probably a lot less than what Phil had hoped for with all the hardcore begging these last days, but not low enough for detractors to take a victory lap.

Slayer is earning thousands a week on T-shirts saying "나는 아무 잘못도 하지 않았다." alone.

Does Kat watch his streams? I don't understand the point of his LARPing as a quaker with regards to women since he got married. Like does she watch all his streams like a hawk and he does this to cover his ass, or is it really just that he thinks all mature adults in committed relationships stop looking at any other members of the opposite sex the moment they get married?

Phil is a deeply paranoid person. We all know this. Phil is also terrified of losing Kat because she is ultimate evidence he's officially a robust mature family man. The reason why Phil went from ogling breasts in his old LP's to acting like a puritan is because in Phil's fucked up autistic mind he truly believes finding other women attractive counts as cheating and that somehow Kat could find out about it. What other explanation could it be? Phil just randomly lost his sex drive after marrying Kat? Phil was faking his attraction to video game girls for half a decade and is secretly gay? Come on man.

Side tangation on the Phil being gay stuff don't you think in the years he went to fighting game convention and hungout with Rambo someone as drunk and stupid as Phil would slipup and try something on them? Why isn't there a single story from people who knew him back in the day about him trying to get in a guys pants?
