I suggest you read the court document instead of repeating false claims you probably got from pro-Palestine twitter.
I appended a summary that is easier to understand than the full text. It's only 13 pages and contains comments by the judges.
the tldr is:

No determination as to whether genocide takes place was made and consequently Israel was not ordered to halt hypothetical genocidal actions.
I think most people don't know what is genocide and didn't actually read the court's decision - see previous post for the pdf.
The court didn't really decide anything.
Israel must "take all measures within its power to prevent the commission of all acts within the scope of Article II of this Convention..."
So must all states, including San Marino, Andorra, Botswana and Canada. All states must take measures to prevent "acts of genocide".
"The Court further considers that Israel must ensure with immediate effect that its military forces do not commit any of the above-described acts."
So must every state with regards to its military forces. This applies to Russia too and yet it seems to me that South Africa has been rather chummy with Russia, whose president has pending arrest warrant for war crimes.
"The Court is also of the view that Israel must take all measures within its power to prevent and punish the direct and public incitement to commit genocide in relation to members of the Palestinian group in the Gaza Strip."
So must every state. Although some countries have very high free speech protections.
"The Court further considers that Israel must take immediate and effective measures to enable the provision of urgently needed basic services and humanitarian assistance to address the adverse conditions of life faced by Palestinians in the Gaza Strip."
Well this is already imho outside the scope of the court because there are many places with "adverse conditions of life".
Also I don't understand why "Palestinians" in the Gaza Strip. Is the court suggesting that other ethnic groups in the Gaza Strip facing adverse conditions of life should not be helped? What about Bedouins?

Some might argue that ensuring the UNRWA aid no longer gets diverted to Hamas and actually makes it to the civilians it's intended for, would constitute Israel fulfilling that part of its obligation. Since, you know, they are the ones who keep getting blamed for the lack of aid reaching civilians.
One last thing- you're mad about Israeli airstrikes hitting civilians, so then they do a strategic operation instead and eliminate the terrorists with NO civilian casualties, and you have an issue with that too? Go back to 4Chan Heinrich, no one cares.

On the Gaza front, the Israeli-made buffer zone is either done or almost done. I read that the survivors from the evacuated zone around Gaza will be returning in the near future, though I do not remember where I read that, so make of that what you will.
There is one Idf Reserve unit or brigade operating in Gaza, as all other reserves have been withdrawn. This removal of troops suggests preparation for escalation in the Northern front.
My guess is that escalation will happen in the North within the next two days.

Court found it plausible Israel is committing genocide and so must stop the activities that could cause it. Determination to happen. I think people here don't understand ethnic cleansing and genocide doesn't only occur on the day it is finished.
Plenty of intent has been stated. They're literally displaying maps of the resettlement plan for Gaza. Which can't happen without the awful thing. It's interesting to hear the perspectives, just be honest that you support it. Embrace your inner hate and be proud.
Someone above mentioned not genocide because of no gas chambers which is a shockingly narrow and ignorant view on the issue. Sounds like part of the reframing that the only genocide that can be acknowledged is the one. Which I hear will be a big debate going forward this year about reframing what the term means and how it's implied. I assume that means Merium Webster will be changing the definition. Same with Wikipedia. A large group of people will receive the new code entered into the Matrix and pretend that completely removing a people from a land and mass deaths was never what genocide meant.

I know reading is hard and you probably need your SPED teacher to help you through some of the longer words, so I'll try to make it simple:
The court said Israel should take a few specific actions to prevent genocide. You cannot prevent something that is already happening. You do not try to prevent a heart attack if you are already having a heart attack. The court did not find that Israel was committing genocide and did not order them to stop the genocide that they are not committing.
If you are going to try to shame people by referring to their imaginary feelings of "hate," you might want to do it on Reddit instead of fucking Kiwi Farms

Stop what you're doing, reverse course and take action to prevent genocide. This means if they don't do that, genocide is a plausible outcome by what is current occuring to the people of Gaza. There is direct action Israel is told to do to ensure it doesn't happen.
You're confusing preventable with preventing. Preventing includes stopping something that is already happening. When someone is having a heart attack, measures can be taken to prevent them from dying.
When a fire is started, firefighters can work to contain the fire and prevent if from spreading further. A small fire in a house can cause a house to burn down.
If at the end of the first day one of the Rwandan Genocide, the Hutu's went, "what the fuck are we doing" and stopped. Would that not have been the prevention of genocide?
A genocide doesn't only occur once it is done. While it is occurring people are committing a genocide. It is plausable that if Israel doesn't reverse cause it'll lead to genocide. They have an obligation under international law for it not leading to a genocide. Not taking action is facilitating that outcome.

The court found that it has jurisdiction and that the allegations made by SA are plausible, but there was no gathering of evidence and no trial. Presumably those things might follow at some point? I don't know what the process is. This is just provisional matters.
EDIT: I believe plausible in this case means that the court considers it possible that the charges have merit, not more.
