I wouldn't say that. I saw a lot of redditers celebrating this shooting and using the lack of public motive to fill in the gaps with stories about her being ritually raped as a child by a Christian nationalist group. Law enforcement withholding the manifesto allowed it to become ambiguous enough that both ideological sides could blame the other. The "leftist narrative" doesn't have to be right, it just has to be able to blame republicans, and I'm pretty sure a large amount of leftists blamed this shooting on republicans.

I'm something of a conspiracy theorist myself, but I pick and choose which shootings I'm going to question.

Mandalay Bay was fishy as hell. No motive, barely anyone knew the perp, no one saw him drag like 50 pieces of luggage to the high roller suite, and his brother was conveniently caught with child porn on his computer not even a month after the shooting. There's something they're not telling us about that shooting and I'm willing to bet Stephen Paddock was just a fall guy.

Could have Covenant, Sandy Hook, Uvalde, Parkland all been government coverups or false flags? I guess it's possible, but the far more likely answer is that the kids of today are not alright.

And what's more, these liberals find it so much easier to make firearms the scapegoat than it is to simply admit that their policies are a failure. Policies that result in higher mental illness, lower spirituality/religiosity, and thus higher crime:

Open borders
Drugging people to change their behavior if it's even a little bit off.
Affirming transgenderism
Allowing practitioners of alternative lifestyles access to artificial reproductive technologies or adoption agencies, including homosexuals
More lax legal penalties for violent crime, crimes against private property, and sexual violence against minors in particular
Placing undue importance on secularism in public life, demonizing religion, Christianity in particular
Not taking steps to protect children from exposure to pornography
Teaching brown-skinned people that white people are to blame for their problems, and thus it's not evil to commit crimes against them

When you have fifteen first graders piled into a bathroom half the size of my walk-in closet, it's not that hard to get all of them with four magazines of NATO rifle rounds in under a minute. That and a thousand other pieces of evidence exist, but people have very selective thinking. It doesn't occur to them that major tragedies and political agendas always go hand-in-hand. You don't have to fake something like this because America is sick enough to generate crazy mass murderers all on its own, and why fix the problem when you have money and power to gain from the fallout? It's the same old story, lots of past examples.

It was actually more like 21 pieces of luggage, and plenty of people saw him, and even helped him, bring luggage to his suite. Nobody thought it was suspicious, because he did it gradually over a week's time, and who looks twice at anybody moving luggage in a hotel?

As far as barely anybody knowing him, how is that at all suspicious? Casinos are packed to the rafters with lonely, friendless casino rats that nobody knows, or even wants to know. Stephen Paddock was just one more of those lonely, friendless casino rats, and that right there is your motive.

Steven Paddock was a nobody who wanted to be a somebody, and, in American, a surefire way for a nobody to become a somebody is for that nobody to pick up a gun and start blasting.
