Rocksteady teases Suicide Squad game

With regards to the supposed fake out of the Justice League's deaths coming in Episode 3 in Summer, there are audio logs in the game that detail how they were captured by Brainiac. We don't get to see anything, but from what I'm hearing, it's pretty clear they were just neutralized and brainwashed.

None of the supposed cloning BS, and pretty straight-forward. Nothing in the game alludes to it being fake, and the fact Batman's blood disappeared off Harley's face a couple scenes in could just be attributed to developer oversight.

The layers of dogshit in this game just never end.

I get the feeling that the company wanted Harley to be the next Batman in terms of popularity, but they're upset that Batman simply eclipses her, so they end up giving him the most pathetic death possible. I'm pretty sure Bruce would have figured out how to get out of a "tied up and at gunpoint" situation by the first year he went superheroing.

I believe he was drugged up after being experimented on by Luther, and it's not like he didn't overcome a similar challenge in Arkham City...

You know, just like how he never struggled with someone quite literally trying to take over his mind.

Watching some gameplay footage and holy shit did they rip off Drax from Guardians with King Shark. King Shark is a literal discount Drax. WB really did want Suicide Squad to be their Guardians of the Galaxy. Once again this proves what utter incompetent retards WB are. I know this clip is from goyslop connoisseur MauLer but this dialogue. Holy shit!
The worst part is they could've made this joke work if Shark had just gone along with it instead of spelling it out like this. "Bob's my uncle, got it, let's go", then casually brings it up in a later scene. "So which uncle did you get assigned? Mine's Bob". It would've still been fucking stupid, but at least I could have seen the humor in it and allows for proper punchline set-up. You know the VA was dying inside when reciting those lines.

The scene as is reminds me of the modern television ads formula, with one character acting cringy/weird and everyone else acting confused/being the straight man. Low-hanging fruit, and it's literally never funny.
