The main reason why Nick’s posts about the cancelled shows are peculiar is because Monday he no showed without explanation, Tuesday he posted he was too sick to stream & had apparently been too sick to type out a cancellation notification on Monday. That’s like deathbed sick.

But then by Wednesday, he’s fine enough to stream, & posts that he definitely “WILL BE” streaming, “DOING IT TONIGHT” (all caps!) although he can’t set up the link because of “where he is”. That is cryptic enough as is. But at this point, he was no longer ailing, or at least not enough to be unable to stream & was certain there would be a stream.

But then! A mere two hours later, just when he should be streaming, a medical issue. As @Balldo's Gate pointed out, he didn’t specify it was his medical issue, only that there was one. He put no “I” and said only “have a medical issue”. Could be him, as he seemed to imply since he’d supposedly been the one sick recently, but could be a kid, the wife, extended family, the neighbors dog… its “private”.
Maybe he omitted the “I” to finish the message quickly. But he said “I am not doing a show”, when he could have left off the “I am”, or even put “no show”.

Then he ends with, “this week sucks”. You can be sure that whatever the medical thing was, whoever it happened to, Nick most effected.
