I kind of lump that into the background behind why he took the Houthis off the terror list and promised to make Saudi Arabia a pariah state over Kashoggi, who I'm sure he couldn't give less of a shit about.

It can happen again, but I don't take what online NEET's say seriously, and those are the people constantly talking like the US dollar is going to be worth more as toilet paper then currency in the next few years.
 
For USD to fail all other fiats must fail first since the USD is the most trusted and stable fiat currency even with all the printing. the ruble is shit. the RMB/yuan/whatever the fuck the chinks call their dollar is too controlled and untrustworthy to be trusted (the chinks devalue their money so they stay competitive in manufacturing, but its not enough anymore), the pound sterling is no good anymore and the euro is subject to the EU. The chinese communist party stores party funds in USD. A lot was made of the China-Saudi deal on buying with yuan but the saudis immediately convert that into USD because no one wants the yuan.

USD is king of the fiats until they all fail (which they will), at which point the US is well positioned to go back to a bi-metallic standard. as bad as things are now its a long way off from that.

If I was a student and my family couldn't afford public school, I'd be truant everyday or at least for that class. Just skip it and go to trade school or get one of those illegal immigrant jobs folks keep shouting about. Anything is better than the indoctrination machine that is the public school system and higher education. You're literally just a number and a spoke that the district uses to get the big checks sent there way.


Mini rant: I heard a lot of folks, after I moved long ago, complain about HS's spending a lot of cash on football stadiums. The sad thing about that is, football is probably the only chance that some kids have at getting a better education through scholarship and athletics programs. I might be missing a lot of nuisance because of ignorance but this is my general view on sports programs. When is the last time someone's acquired a full ride scholarship for painting something? Football is at least entertaining to watch and maybe one day that scholarship investment will provide dividends for the happy ESPN investors. IDK who owns ESPN now, its been passed around like monkey pox at a furry convention.

People always keep putting the blame on the school's money maker(s) like football as it is an extremely visible target. Cause they absolutely refused to look at what their school districts' administration is spending on itself and maybe their teachers. Teachers especially will do this and do the "poor little me" act to obfuscate attention away from them. Since meritocracy is absolutely fucking verboten in the U.S. public education system since no one wants to be accountable. With only the sports programs and coaches giving a fuck as nobody likes no talent useless loser.

Nah, I saw someone do the math and she's flying in the direction where time zones work in her favor. She can basically do her concert, sleep all night, fuck around most of the rest of the next day, fly out at her leisure, and arrive before kickoff. Tay Tay controls Time and Space.

So look forward to seeing America's Barbie there to cheer on her Ken Doll.

If anything, winning the election should put them into overdrive in seeking to (legitimately) remain in power long past what will irrevocably be a blip of a Trump tenure. Most importantly, they have to pivot away from prostrating at the feet of the Blackrock and Vanguard elite and get back to winning the hearts and minds of regular, working people via actual legislative action, not empty promises.

I agree, in hindsight, Obama terms 1 and 2 pushed the US to the edge, Biden term 1 (Obama term 3) has put the US over it in nearly all realms (economically, demographically, culturally). This is not the America people knew even a decade ago.

A Trump term 2 can only at best slow the slide, as despite the necessity of a fighter willing to push back, his entire term will no doubt be spent fighting Washington and the uniparty, all of which are hellbent on undermining and destroying him. Even a Trump successor with 2 terms and every bit of luck will only be able to stabilize the situation politically and economically, but the demographic and cultural damage is done.

I hate to say it, but the US needs a Sulla-like leader to pull it out of the decline over the course of a decade or so, and enact all the changes that could never be done democratically. Unfortunately, that figure is unlikely to come.

Rolling back pretty much everything that gave us energy independence in the first three months and then trying to have the press gaslight everyone on arguing that energy prices hadn't gone up comes to mind.
