This might be an unpopular opinion I didn't mind Trish at all. I kind of liked her actually. Sure she wasn't super interesting that's true but I respect her for sticking it to the end and her fighting with Dungay when things were slow kept there from being dead air. She also led to some funny moments with fatty with the whole marriage and earlier broken bed stuff. She's a solid C or B tier fish imo.
I enjoyed Trish too, I was hoping that she'd stick it to the end but she got very VERY frustrating to watch. She's not worse than Vance since she could take getting messed with in certain ways such as having her hair clipped short or doing reverse cowgirl, etc. but she was really quick to forfeit or hesitate on certain other challenges. I guess she's what we could call in our language...Huevona.

y-y-you hated the boxing competitions that were obviously put in because Sam was into the sport at the time?
I actually quite liked the boxing comps! Those were actually really really fun....when it was balanced and both people were fighting fair. Plus it's a more palatable way to see violence break out between the fish but they really don't care for stuff like weight class...or contestant well-being.

I don't mind them as a rule but some of them were severely bad, agreed. I could just be a major nerd but stuff like Gator Squatch had limited appeal to me- if someone other than JC had been eliminated as a result of that it would have been a mental asterisk to me until the end of time.
Now that I think about it, I think every challenge requires some degree of being fit since you have to get up to move 🤔. I guess if it helps, in my mind, challenges that heavily rely on any strenuous pushing, pulling, lifting, etc. should be avoided due to balance issues.

I just don't like how transparent rigged physical challenges were. When they did Indian wrestling between TJ and Jimmy they said outright that they chose Indian wrestling because Jimmy weighs more so they knew he would win. Last season there was some obfuscation because they didn't have as many opportunities or reasons to rig and theyd usually just be something like, we told Letty she could get off the bed but we lied so Vance wins, actually. Rigged physical challenges make you wonder why the contestants are even going through with it.

Trish only begged to stay because there was free food, a roof and drugs; if there were dicks as well, all her low life needs would've been fulfilled. Sam only let her stay cause he has no standards for fuck buddies. I understand liking Shinji, who despite being cringe nontent is a good person, but Trish is an awful subhuman, so low iq she can barely string words together and just repeats words and short phrases like a pokemon with a hoodrat accent. You could also see her being a selfish, malicious piece of shit whenever she started to become comfortable with the group, as is usual with very low iq people who can't resort to deep thought to restrain their basic instincts. Despite being physically fuckable, I could never find her attractive because of all the things mentioned, and I feel sorry for anyone who does.
The last thing JC saw in the tank was the two physically largest men pushed to the brink of passing out in a long, painful challenge.
This was one of the wigger crew's first fuck ups that showed they were really just brain dead druggies running a million dollar show. After Goran's week 5 reveal got revealed on day 4, he decided to do some macho posturing and said in cringe website notifications "it's hell house now", brought the sharks and initiated that nasty game, which ended in Cole crying, Brian talking about how broke he is and crying, Meg getting scared, and JC leaving; so he had to do a 180 after JC left and tell everyone that hell house was cancelled, they were gonna have some days of vibe healing or some gay shit. Not only did the dumbass base the season on a dumb secret not being revealed, but when it got revealed he made an important contestant leave for a little bit of ego stroking. Wigger brains and million dollar projects don't mix well.

Getting really tired of people saying Shinji was boring. You don't get the highest votes out of any contestant being boring nontent. Shinji was nearly universally liked for a reason and it wasn't because he was "nontent". He overachieved during challenges, had a funny likable personality and was incredibly driven.
I understand your perspective, but I would say Shinji at the very least leaned towards producing the clippable and easily digestible content until the very end of the show. I will concede he was good during most challenges and even entertaining at times, but direct challenges only make up 10% of the show, it's the down time that makes or breaks a contestants value imo.

With Shinji he was simply the most inoffensive fish and that is why he was the most popular. For the first five weeks many of his memorable moments could be boiled down to looking at the camera and making a quirky face or yelling/singing something in Japanese. His content was largely one dimensional until the final week.

And just to be the guy who says "askshually" a fish is perfectly capable of becoming popular despite not producing much content. Josie literally won the entire first season because of just how popular she was and she never went out of her way to get into any conflict or do anything notable without heavy guidance. She was popular because she was the most inoffensive. Shinji is no different in that aspect.

He wasn't always boring, but there were times when hours would go by and it seemed like he wouldn't talk at all. It was almost like he was a decoration in the background. I would often forget about his existence.

Was there any indication about how late Jet actually expected that to get busted open?
Yes, Goran himself saying he expected it to happen on day 7 at most (don't remember where he said it, maybe twitter), which is all you need to know he was lying, and desperate his plan got ruined on day 4. It's always safe to assume the worst from Goran. But being more serious, there's no way he expected this thing to be revealed before week 3 or 4, because of how unprepared the crew seemed after it happened. Yeah it's stupid to think it could last more than a few days, let a lone weeks, but we're talking about lazy, drug addict wiggers.

Shinji is too esl to figure out on his own how toxic Summer is. Who do you think helped him; his spergy friend, Sam, everyone? Or maybe I'm underestimating him and he figure it out on his own the moment he left the tank and saw all the crazy shit. I can imagine Goran and Sam at least giving him a talk and showing him some stuff in the basement though. Regardless, happy for him.

There are plenty of insane Menhera girls in Japan and Shinji is definitely aware of the kind of tricks that girls like Summer pull. I wouldn't be surprised if he had clients just like her once or twice. He's just polite and abides by the rule of, "If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all"
