Wendigoon Thread

Is it really that vague or mysterious? He mentioned how he thought his wages sucked to coworkers, mentioned how his death might raise wages for ground service workers and said he couldn't get an promotion to a pilot because he was a white guy. Seems like he was mentally ill and bailed out of life because he had a breakdown over perceived obstacles keeping him from getting the job he wanted.
Maybe vagueness and mystery aren't the right terms. Down to earth? Normal stressors? That's the impression I got from Wendigoon's video.

No cheating or drug use that's been confirmed, no major single event, just life weighing you down. Relatable.

I actually thought the sky King video was not only lazy, but poorly researched (he picked most of his things from rolling stone) and cherry picked.

Russell did not puke once, not was it a little. He was puking several times. He was on autopilot and the act of being sick and not flying the plane into the densely packed neighborhood he was over, was impressive.

The way Isaiah described the area is confusing. I have no idea why he made it sound like he was south to Oregon. It is ok to show a map.

Between Russell and ATC there was an issue with fuel talked about which was never even mentioned. It would not have had a lot of fuel, and the that area looks like it has a lot of islands he could safely crash. Even Russell talked about smoking his tires. There was also talk of other strips, but the military strip was the longest and away from homes, had a fire brigade etc.

The family did make a handful of statements and FBI bad but he could have gone through the findings at the very least.

This was just "I read a rolling stone summery to you" meme video, with no work.

AG1 supplement he also shills.
AG1 is overpriced for what it is due to the massive marketing campaign.

Green Vibrance and Delicious Green are just as good at for nearly half the price. I think there is a slight difference in ingredients, but that's going to maybe effect digestion than the overall effectiveness of the powders.

Thanks for the context. So this was secretly one of his "let me paraphrase something I read/watched" videos all along?

I did notice he called Rolling Stone "Rolling Stones," but he's young enough not to be familiar with either.
Rolling Stone link

An Alaska Airlines pilot cut in on the radio: “That aircraft is taking off rolling,” he warned. Were the brakes on? “His wheels are smoking left and right,” the pilot said, “just rolling down the runway.”

Of course. It was paraphrasing except he left out key details. Rolling Stones is embarrassing on such a short video.

Completely random but you made me remember the time, when everyone was going up in arms because Rolling Stone published a cover with one of the Boston Marathon bombers that "made him look like a rockstar"

I don't know why I remembered that.

It was the only time they were relevant in the last decade. Also made a disturbing precedent of glamorizing Islamic Terrorism that becomes more prevalent over the last years.

Another cryptid iceberg if ya haven't seen it yet. Mentions being sick, probably part of why the sky king video seemed so low energy.

Okay I have to ask. What the fuck is a cryptid? Isn't it just an animal that may exist in the wild but there is no proof of it? If your list is just mythical creatures and memes then might as well just read and rank a DnD monster compendium.

Crypt- in the sense of "hidden", so theoretically. At this point most of the people who promote them couldn't honestly give a high existence probability though.

Tried to give the video another go but I reached the kappa and just couldn't. At least with the earlier mythological creatures he gave them low scores, but here a straight up equivalent to a western demon gets a glowing score because it's japanese rather than "filthy" european-slavic mythology. At least he should have had any consistency rather than obvious bias towards non western entities.

In the end the list is completely contaminated by fantastical creatures from backwards cultures that didn't have time to collectively forget about silly bedtime stories.

I would argue mythological beings, for the most part, are cryptids. These are beings people really believed walked the earth due to misunderstanding or hoaxes even back then, and there are still people who believe they might exist. If I remember from the few Weird Bible episodes I watched Wendi is fairly literalist with the old testament so he probably does believe dragons and similar biblical beasts once walked the Earth and still might. Saint George and Emperor Constantine V slew dragons according to traditions. Whether or not they're real it's the possibility of their existence through stories told as a fact that makes them cryptids.

Yeah this doesn't really look like stalker past the surface level shit.
The more I see of it, the more it looks like some guys wanted to crowdfund their own scripted milsim event where they get to shoot extras with airsoft guns and look like badass tacticool operators. Do we know how he got wrapped up in it to begin with? The way he talks about it sounds like someone convinced him to throw his money and name behind their idea.
