🤔🙄🤔

It comes from a place of self-infantilization. Same as the childfree stuff, same as insisting 18-26 year olds are still little babby children who can’t be prosecuted for crimes, same as all of it: consume product, be a permanent child, kiss boys because you are also a little boy.
HAAAAAANK!

DON‘T GOOGLE „average age of first sexual experience gay men“!

So I found out the reason r/WorldNews is so barren these days. Turns out if you say anything even remotely against the current narrative, the mods go into attack mode. I made a post on a thread about you-know-who finding a tunnel under a graveyard that they just so happened to be demolishing as a test. I said "Convinient" and not even 10 minutes later I was perma-banned. That sub has actual fucking Mossad agents moderating it, I swear.
The closest thing reddit has to actual world news is r/anime_titties. I'm hazy on the details on how the hell that happened, but I think the story is buried in this thread somewhere.

Are modern games seriously doing this shit. Asking you "this part is hard for a little baby like you, shall I skip it and change your diaper?"
I've had games ask me if i want to lower the difficulty after dying to the same boss multiple times but i've never heard of a game asking if you want to skip entire sections.
Crazy if true.
And fucking stupid.

No... It's an entirely optional part of the game. Before you enter the area, there's a popup warning you of the extreme difficulty and reminding you that it's optional, and you will be locked in after certain events pass. It's possible to enter while severely underleveled or undergeared and have zero chance of winning. You do not have the option to "skip" the fight, apart from avoiding entering that optional area entirely. Which there are valid reasons to do.

IIRC, the original world news subreddit was at one point so poorly-moderated you could post a picture of anime boobs and get away with it. Eventually, some enterprising user decided to make an anime_titties subreddit that focused on world news to capitalize on the joke... and it stuck.

I had a peek in that sub and felt that I had to share some of these "battle jackets"

You shouldn't be allowed to call it a battle jacket if the political patches outnumber the band patches. You're just a political poser at that point trying to ape off an aesthetic to feel tough. They're literally LARPing as a radical punk, it's a costume. They need to start getting called out like if a rich kid was walking around in gangsta attire trying to act like he's about it.

to be fair there's not much more to punk than that

to stick with the gangster/poser analogy: with hood nigger gangsters, there is actually more to it than the superficial aesthetic. the real ones who are seriously about that life are involved in organized violent crime, it's about money and power, serious business.
but what is the 'real shit' when it comes to punk? listening to loud rock music, drinking beer, and bitching about the establishment? i don't see that big of a difference between those 'real' punks and whatever political 'poser' punks they complain about tbh
