Games you have to 100% if you're replaying it - When just getting to the end isn't enough

My fav character used to be Krieg until I realized how trash he was so then I switched to the obvious superior and self-insert character of Salvador (literally me).
Sorry but Zer0 is the best, that guy talks in haikus and is a legit alien. Plus it's super fun to snipe people from far away and instant kill them when you get critical hits.
I was able to run New Vegas on windows 10 but windows 11 is shit for it but SOMEHOW Fallout 3 works fine. I'm trying to get all the steam achievements and only have 66/75. Xbox should be able to run it if you have the Xbox 360 disc, but if I remember online store has it for an outrageous hundred dollars.
Wait why is the digital game so expensive? Especially for a game that (as far as I know) is still decently popular?

Zer0 is cool but Salvador makes me feel macho and basically a budget Duke Nukem.

Also my mistake I looked it up but Xbox has it at base price (probably because they bought Bethesda lol) and I looked at the price on PlayStation which had the hundred dollar markup. The Steam price especially on sale is your best value since it's only 6.59 compared to 20 dollars on Xbox.

I never 100% games, it removes all the fun and makes it a chore.
this is me too. never felt the need to go hunting around for every single last item, coin, quest, character, etc. it just isnt fun for me, i guess i didnt get that particular autism.

closest i came for new vegas, i got all but one achievement and played through it multiple times getting most of the possible endings at one point or another. no other game has come anywhere close to that though.

edit: spelling and wanted to add:
the main reason i even did that for NV was mostly because i was depressed beyond belief at the time and mindlessly plaything through new vegas was my outlet. most of the time it got to the point it wasnt even fun anymore, but i did it because depression. sure some of you guys can relate.

I can't have Steam because my laptop would never be able to handle games but yeah I just checked and it's $10 on xbox right now, I think I might actually download it, I'm still curious about how it ends.

Sucks about your laptop but how it ends will be up to you and your choices actually matter, you know how an rpg should. Since you got xbox you should get Force Unleashed and Force Unleashed 2, both of my favorite games that are worth the replayability of being an absolute BEAST.

Don't worry it's before the Disney purchase so it's really good since LucasArt really put the passion into it. Also it's highly memeable that Vinny from Vinesauce (I am ashamed at my error) played a corrupted version.

Do you have to know Star Wars lore to enjoy it? I remember my dad making me watch the original Star Wars movies at home when I was a kid, and I thought it was okay, but I have never been a Star Wars fan by any means and don't know much outside of very basic stuff. And I now actively hate the Star Wars franchise due to redditors and consoomers shoving it in my face for years. NGL getting me to give this game a chance is gonna be a tough sell lol

That fucking beetle race in DK64. And Beaver Bother. And that mechanical fish. So many bad parts in that game for me to ever 101% it again. Watching DSP suffer through it 101% was pure joy, though. By far the best TIHYDP, imo.
The mechanical fish caused me a lot of grief as a kid. It turns out that when you have the sniper scope it causes slow down and makes it impossible unless you look away from the fan blades. If you do it before you get it, then it becomes really easy. The beetle race and beaver bother are trash through. I can still hear that stupid beetle laughing at me for losing.

If you know the original or even the 3 that's enough because Force Unleashed 1 is basically a prequel to a New Hope. It's basically it's own lore and is considered non-canon (the bastards). I am a biased person because I grew up with a lot of Star Wars because of my father. It has some aged gameplay but it plays like God of War, especially Force Unleashed 2, where you mash buttons and dodge attacks. Luckily I'm not enough of a consoomer to be a Disney adult or a redditor but I like to get a figurine or comic every few months or so (that has not been tainted by Disney). I can promise you, you will be paying for your money's worth and if not you can foot me the bill.

There's plenty of really good Star Wars games where knowing the lore is reuqired but most of them are PC, Gamecube, and og Playstation and Xbox. Gamecube/Playstation had Bounty Hunter which I would love to have remade.

I'll consider it, but if I get it and hate it you're definitely gonna hear about it.

DSP's reaction conveys my feeling of discovering the beetle in Crystal Caves as a child.

Honestly the only games that I ever enjoyed 100%ing were Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, even tho completing the second game is a massive pain in the ass due to how huge the levels are and needlessly complicated and intricate the connected levels are.
