Any proof that he actually makes 6 figures a year? He only gets around $50 a day in tips, only has 500 monthly subs, and Youtube takes a huge chunk of that.

Just look up his bank leaks and the bankruptcy saga, we had daily/weekly/monthly breakdowns of how much Phil made and how bullshit his bankruptcy claim was.

He admitted a couple of times before that he gets big donations off camera. He probably pignosed those dents into doing that by saying that reaching the daily tips goal isn't enough to pay his bills and if one dent donates a lot during his stream it's gonna discourage the other donating because they think Phil doesn't need their money anymore since he already reached the tips goal that day

After the bankruptcy he had thousands of dollars a month freed up (13 credit cards and the CT mortgage + HOA fees) and what is that money being used on now? There's no answer other than WWE Champions. Kat is too stupid to even notice this.

This may be of me, but I like to think that at some point, somehow, Kat will have a moment of clarity, realize what's going on, and freak the fuck out on Phil. That dream trip to Japan of hers that could have happened (multiple times even) by now if it weren't for Phil's gacha addiction. And if she manages to figure out the full extent of his spending, she could come to the realization that he's spending more money on sweaty jpgs than she makes in a fucking year, which means she could just stay home and not work at all if he cared enough to quit whaling out on a mobile game.
Yes, I realize she essentially gets free room an board, but she's likely not as "content" with that as some people seem to think.
TBH, a lot of the unemployed and barely employed people that I've known seem to want to go on trips and buy expensive shit more than full time employed people because they actually have the time to get bored with the large amount of free time they have.

Kat is a rapidly expanding woman who is borderline actually retarded, comes from a fucked up family life, and coming off kiting along her previous boyfriend for a place to stay because she's barely competent at stocking shelves in a grocery store.

She has no prospects for advancement or higher education, nor any drive to better herself. She doesn't cook, barely cleans, and seems totally checked out at life besides her part time job (if she's even still working at all).

Phil is literally her best case scenario and as long as she has a bed, doordash, and her skyrim computer she's got 100% of her needs met. She doesn't have a drive or desires or really any thoughts in her head.

You know when you see someone working retail in their 40s and they're still stocking shelves or whatever and you wonder 'how did this person never advance at least to manager, I wonder what happened?' Kat is what happened.

If you've ever worked in the public sector it's not weird. There's lots of employees of impossible to get fired from government jobs (think the DMV) that have been there for 20+ years and never advanced past pushing buttons. And they're working 40 hours a week, so imagine setting the bar even lower than 'can barely do data entry without fucking it up'

It's hard to say. Khet seems to have as much financial sense and observational skills as Phil, and we know how paranoid Phil is when it comes to, well, anything. I'm sure she knows he plays a mobile game, unless things have truly deteriorated to the point she doesn't even acknowledge what he's doing when he's awkwardly sitting in the same room as her while they watch another streamer. But I doubt he's openly talking about his spending or even their finances. If he is, I suspect he's doing the usual Phil boasting to impress her. As much as Phil likes to beg, he'll only do it on his own terms. When someone criticizes his success or insists he gets a job or the like, he'll quickly boast about how dumb that is because he's so successful and wouldn't come close to making what he does streaming. We know in the past he's relied on flexing his wallet to try and impress women, so it's entirely possible he still does that with Khet. It's definitely hurt by the fact he had to declare bankruptcy, but I imagine Khet is as thick as she is wide and he spun it as somehow being a positive and brilliant financial manuever.

Assuming that is the case, I'd bet he leans on one of his other favorite lies to justify why they can't take a trip. He's too busy. He'd love to go on a trip with her, but there's just no time for it in the darn schedule.

I also think, despite Khet's considerable gravitional force, the goutsphere still managed to crush her. Part of why she ballooned is she's embraced the hermit lifestyle. I think she's really similar to Phil in that she does technically have vague goals, but she isn't actually serious about them, or at the very least, she ultimately prefers being lazy. Phil every now and then mentions wanting to go to Disney or the zoo or some other random trips, but he makes absolutely zero effort towards those goals. Even during the Twitch days when he could still reliably host a begathon for a vacation, the only time he did was to see his parents/marry Khet, and there's a good chance that was because his parents pushed/bribed him into it. Hell, Phil wouldn't even have to lie, I'm sure his dents would have willingly funded a honeymoon begathon.

I think for Khet, the "buying expensive shit" phase was just video game and door dash, which compared to what little she had before, feels like a "big" purchase. Given her general lack of ambition, I don't know if that will ever change and maybe she'll actually crave something more. It's not impossible, but seems unlikely now that she's a planet.

Did you watch those streams she was on recently? 2 things are abundantly clear;

1. While we can debate the actual issue, it’s very clear Kat is not as ‘up to speed’ mentally as you, I or the person on the street is.

2. In her 5 year hiatus/captivity she has been full on programmed by Phil what to think. And if there’s the slightest doubt, he outright tells her what to think. (“You didn’t like that game, did you honey?”). He literally changed her opinion on the film Polar Express in about 60 seconds.
Absolute scumbag behaviour given point 1.

Expect nothing from her except a human shield for Phil and the occasional stupid story we can laugh at.

I don’t think she even does the ‘asking questions Vs roof over my head’ calculation. I think Phil has, in an abusive way, separated her from friends/family and made her believe she can’t live without him. Full on, complete, irreversible pignosis.

Probably. I could imagine the judge saw "Runs a Youtube Channel" and just assumed DSP had actual production value. IIRC Everyday Astronaut has a camera van and team to take his own video of launches. There's nothing implausible about a YouTube channel spending thousands a month; I'm sure many of them do. They'd need to actually watch DSP to realize he just sits on his couch.

Sorry if this has been asked a million times but I gotta know: Why are Phil and his wife still together if they clearly loathe each other? Guy brags about his "family" of a wife, a cat, and his career but he looks like he wants to fucking die whenever any of them are onscreen.

After seeing how much Fat Kat parrots literally all of Phil's opinions, I doubt she loathes him. I used to think she did, but the Fat Kat arc has changed my mind.

Also the fact she's got fat as fuck since marrying him demonstrates some level of contentedness on her part. It heavily (lol) implies she's not really thinking about keeping in shape for extramarital activities.

Phil telling anecdotes that make Fat Kat sound retarded on the other hand is still evidence that maybe he doesn't like her, but it could also just be his negative self-awareness.
