The money is not, I repeat, NOT going to Josh. It's going to an IOLTA, which is an account held and maintained by his lawyer.

And before anyone asks, yes, IOLTAs  do accrue interest (it's the first word in the acronym). However, that interest does NOT go to the attorney or the client. Rather, it goes to the (or one of the) nonprofit organisation(s) in the jurisdiction where the IOLTA is set up to help provide legal services for the poor.

Are you using Brave or something like ublock origin or an adblocker? I had that issue as well at first (everything was checking off fine but the last check). I turned off the Brave Shield and uBlock, double checked my bank first to make sure the transaction didn't go through (it didn't). Then ran it again and it went fine. I'm assuming there's something about third party finance processing going on, ublock (or Brave) didn't like it.

I had no issues donating using vanilla Brave, so it could be the card/bank that's the issue.

Naw, we all trust you not to spend it all on drugs lol, but for real I am with the rest of the people on here. It would show your hand a little too much to your enemy's. If you really wanted to do it you can do it at your normal end of year shit, but not right now, not before you even start the lawsuit(s), amd your point about it becoming gameified is a very real concern that should be taken into account as well. My vote is naw. Not worth it.

Maybe overlay a second bar to show disbursements. Would avoid the health bar issue and give it more of a second progress bar look, sort of like this:

I don't think publishing this info would benefit any future opponents (they already know how much money the fund has raised, and any lawyer will be able to estimate how much you've spent with reasonably high accuracy anyways). Giving people a sense of how much money is left would make it easier to raise more if it comes to that.
