He refers to Jasper as his son all the time, no wonder he would phrase it like Jasper is their actual child. He's a serious adult with a busy full time job, a wife and a family to support. that's his retarded cope and he lacks the critical thinking to realise that if Kat is his wife then his family is just Japser. Two married people in a sexless loveless marriage of convience and a cat is not a family but Phil would view that as slander.
Although I do almost wish they would have a kid, they'd be the kind of people to only have 1, just to see how fucked up it would turn out to be. Kids tend to inherit their mothers intelligence and Kats checked out of life, zonked on anti-psychotics that made her fat and stupid, on top of being obese which makes you dumber anyway. Phil is totally not curious about anything, no interests, no hobbies, no niche knowledge of a topic hes personally interested in, neither of them have read a book cover to cover since high school. Their child would be just like them, fat, lazy, entitled, aggressive over petty issues and the perfect consumer than spends every dollar the moment they have it. Better to stick with the cat, he won't be a drain on society after outliving them.

I love this rant because it really shows how low IQ Phil really is that he can't piece the ending together. Even the Tony didn't get whacked crowd has good points to argue he didn't die at the end, even though they're fucking wrong.
