Because we have written records for the past year or more of Nijisanji being absolute shitlords to their talents in awful ways. And its out of the black company playbook.

In a battle of credibility they have negative credibility already. They've done it before and shown no remorse or care.

Amnosity between talent within Nijisanji EN has been corroborated by Zaion and Nina.

Selen never publically claimed bullying. It was Nijisanji that chose to make her internal complaint to them public and they didn't even bother to deny it.

Grimmi is going to quit. God I hope she won't join Nijisanji, that would be more a downgrade for her. But following her announcement she do more (adult) voice acting again.

She said in her announcement that she got a job that required her to travel all the time, so I highly doubt she's switching to Niji. Unless Niji management has decided to bus her around the country until she kills herself. Plus there is no way she's unaware of how shitty Niji are, considering some of the other streamers she's friends with.

Is the adult voice acting stuff true? Not that I'm opposed to it, but it seems really out of character for someone who refuses to even swear on stream.

I remember her saying that we might recognize her voice in something that is coming out soon, and to please ignore the real name attached to it. If it's adult VA work I doubt she would sign her real name in the credits.

I'm going to miss her regular streaming, but if she's nailed some sort of dream job and is still going to make content she loves then I can't be anything but happy for her.

Because this isn't the first time its happened its an on-going trend at this point. Niji hasn't just mistreated its en employees most of their talents are forgotten about entirely till they just quit by default since niji doesn't promote them, takes huge cuts on any earnings they make and hires so many people they drown their talents.

Over 50 of their talents have quit/gotten fired already. Compared to hololive's... 4? (not including the chinese branch which got shut down for certain reasons). They're a talent agency that doesn't promote their talents if they don't get popular on their own, most of the designs (which they hire artists for) are bland or just outright terrible which leads to many of them just getting the short end of the stick.

Even on the EN side which doesn't suffer the quantity problem as much seems to have terrible communication lines for their talents. How does a music video get completed without being reviewed before hand? Money went into producing the instrumentals, lyrics, art, animation all got past the idea phase, money went to all the people who did all these different aspects and was compiled into a finished product and yet they couldn't review it? All 2 minutes of it? They must've had access to it in advance. This is just incompetence on the company's part, and then instead of them just de-listing it to put it back up it gets totally canned. Her money wasted, all the work those different artists did wasted.

I think there's been a rumor for a bit of a Mean Girls Clique within NijiEN, I've seen some names thrown around but no one involved has ever Named Names. So really its a guessing game as to who causes shit behind closed doors.

They have just fired a well-liked talent for what seems like an inconsequential NDA breach, there is no way their HR would give a pass to someone with a document like that attached to them. Hiring her would also severely limit any future collabs with Nijisanji. Assuming that she even wanted to go corpo again, which she probably doesn't after an experience like this.

It depends if the EN branch manager actually wants to take that swing. Pomu's graduated, Selen's graduated, NijiEN and HoloEN have no cross over now because the only people who HoloEN collab'd with are now free. I don't know how often HoloJP and NijiJP collab but if the collab well has dried up, I can see Hololive taking the swing and being praised as heroes

We truly don't know what went on behind closed doors, If Niji was wiling to fully deperson her over that cover shit, who knows how bad it was behind the scenes, it could have been the straw that broke the camels back so to speak. All we know for sure is that Doki said it WAS a attempt, which means everything Niji (and implied other talents) did to her drove her to attempt suicide, just like Zaion.

Yeah, I'm going with Kyo taking a part in the bullying as well, hence the "graduation" so if Selen showed her hands and directly name the people including him, Anycolor can just say "well, he's no longer with us"

Zaion: read the doc, Multiple clips from her later talking about Nijisanji later on (I don't have these on hand but you'll probably find them searching on TVA), the whole retarded dogpile situation after she got fired, search "finana gaslight"

Nina: Seems to be more discrete about it since she has more to lose, has vaguely mentioned her negative experiences in Nijisanji as matara, again I don't have any clips saved because I don't care that much about it. Your best bet is searching keywords on palanq.win and sifting through the trash.

I don't have any reason to believe it was specifically talent and not management that was bullying Selen but it's hard to say because the graduation document is very poorly written and unclear. For all we know, Nijisanji could just be deflecting blame directly on their talent rather than management. The truth will be made clear when Dokibird decides to clarify.

As for the suicide attempt, she did seem to have a history of attempting it once back when she was living with her parents, who were deadbeats/manipulative. This can be found in TVA, searching under "doki", "dokibird" or "selen", I don't remember which.
People have been posting multiple clips over time from ex-niji livers, which didn't paint a good picture, there's not a single post to find & reference, so I won't.

Grimmi used to do adult voice acting prior to becoming a vtuber, both for comissoned stuff and even more "professional" porn like StudioFOW. I think she didn't like it much as she ended up choosing to stop and move into vtubing.

If it's regular VA work unless the contract actually prevents her from vtubing I'd be sort of surprised if it stopped her because there are some VAs that do vtubing like Amalee, she's provided English VA for works like Honkai Star Rail, one specific character she plays is Jingliu. Another VA is male vtuber can't think of his name, he's friends with Amalee and he voices the English version of Jing Yuan in Honkai Star Rail as well.
