what's weird is that she's "graduating" but still streaming maybe. why not just go on infinite hiatus with some gorilla-streams if you feel like it? she's an indie, she owns her model, no need to leave it behind or end it.

She even hung out with other Niji members after graduating and took her former genmates to a strip club. Maybe someone thought that her rivalry with Pomu was sincere mutual hatred.

So yeah, any talk of previous bullying from other talents seems to simply be a wild speculation so far. The management incompetence is undeniable, though.

She said in her announcement that she got a job that required her to travel all the time, so I highly doubt she's switching to Niji. Unless Niji management has decided to bus her around the country until she kills herself. Plus there is no way she's unaware of how shitty Niji are, considering some of the other streamers she's friends with.

Is the adult voice acting stuff true? Not that I'm opposed to it, but it seems really out of character for someone who refuses to even swear on stream.

I remember her saying that we might recognize her voice in something that is coming out soon, and to please ignore the real name attached to it. If it's adult VA work I doubt she would sign her real name in the credits.

I'm going to miss her regular streaming, but if she's nailed some sort of dream job and is still going to make content she loves then I can't be anything but happy for her.

Grimmi used to do adult voice acting prior to becoming a vtuber, both for comissoned stuff and even more "professional" porn like StudioFOW. I think she didn't like it much as she ended up choosing to stop and move into vtubing.

If it's regular VA work unless the contract actually prevents her from vtubing I'd be sort of surprised if it stopped her because there are some VAs that do vtubing like Amalee, she's provided English VA for works like Honkai Star Rail, one specific character she plays is Jingliu. Another VA is male can't think of his name, he's friends with Amalee and he voices the English version of Jing Yuan in Honkai Star Rail as well.

I thought this info was confirmed as true but now I'm not 100% sure. The voice does sound similar to her, maybe she needed the money urgently.

What seems strange is that it's apparently pot luck as to what kind of manager you get in Niji EN. Pomu's manager seemed pretty ace, for example, dancing for her in a maid outfit and wearing leg slimmers to appear more feminine (lmao) for her final song, being cool with her no-showing for a meeting and instead reading Garfield smut on stream...

Then you have managers like Selen's or Zaion's that are power tripping egotistical pieces of shit.

The impression I get is that individual managers are "evil" to use your words, and the overall company is apathetic to the point of incompetency to not manage their managers properly so this shit doesn't happen.

Based, but also cringe because "queer woman" and all the trans bullshit in the shop. It looks like 90% of the stuff on their storefront is Niji-related, they're definitely shooting themselves in the foot with this.

Back in the day holo had a creepy manager who stalked a talent, and they mishandled that, then got bitten hard for it, and have been pretty good ever since. I guess Niji hasn't yet had the kick in the nuts they need?

Holo has had a couple wake up calls. Coco leaving was one, they realized they can't treat their talents that way, they tried to make up for it after she said she was quitting but she didn't want to stay anymore. The EN girls have also had to fight for a lot of their ideas to get approval and now they seem to get more well received after so many successful ones. Mori' and Ame have talked about how they had to push back on management a lot in the past and how it's improved over time.

Kson seems to acknowledge that things have to get bad before they get better as well.

This is speculation, but I there seems to be a lot of barriers between management levels in Nijisanji. When Hololive launched English branch, they basically set up a new overseas company which had more autonomy. It even caused some difficulty with collabing initially (they had to set up their own Minecraft server and receive perms for accessing a Japanese one). Nijisanji still seems to be a Japanese bureaucratic company through and through with no considerations for Western work ethic, and we aren't even sure if Japanese upper management if aware of the problems.
