If you look at these “dungeoneer files” messages from the month of October, you can see the group discussing Alex Sanchez (the guy who claimed PTP was taking credit for his work) and a project that he and Patrick did together:
But if you watch the part of the stream where Ethan's actually talking about these messages, you see him lie to his audience about what's on the pages, while scrolling quickly past them.
“So this is them blowing up, and just imagining that our campaign to, like, raise a little bit of money to make… variant comic books, in order to pay for a big table and booth, travel expenses, all that stuff… It’s all about them.”

Ethan knows about gaslighting, clearly... and this also shows he knows how dumb and trusting his audience are, and has no qualms about taking advantage of that.
