2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

In any case, I see you support organisations that call for genocide and include, i

I don't support that, I have empathy for people in a shit situation dying. You equate a whole group of people, including newly born babies as all deserving of death. The fact you can't understand someone having a moral of principled stance against hatred and death isn't surprising. As it's so far from your world view.

It's one of those things you need to learn to understand the world. Other people don't see things the same way as you. They try and apply it through the lens of how they see the world. Not understand there are completely different perspectives and takes. With different foundational view points.

There's the famous story of a Palestiniant a checkpoint in the West Bank dying in an ambulance as they're forced to wait the mandatory 1 hour to cross. Someone asks the checkpoint guards how they'd feel if that was someone in their family in the ambulance. The guard got irate at how dare he put a Palestinian on the same level as someone in his family. That's just an ingrained level of racism you may have. The person asking the guard just saw people. The Israeli guard put them on a different level and didn't care. Was offended they were compared. That's just a deeply ingrained level of racism.

I can completely comprehend why it makes sense from the Israel perspective to wipe Gaza out and why they would want to resettle it. Yet I fundamentally disagree with it. What you and others are failing at is understanding why people can be against that, with out trying to apply the Israeli mindset but switch sides.

If this isn't clear, it's like the classic debate between evangelical christians in the south and people who understand the science of evolution. The christians will constantly frame the science understanders as following the book of Darwin. As if it's a holy text they take on faith. As their world view is based on believing a book and faith in it. Completely misunderstanding that those that understand science don't view the world in the same way. Don't take their understand on faith in a text.

It's a common people make, they just try and understand other opinions based on how they view things. It's why there's so much devision in the west. An interesting one is how the woke people are becoming increasingly hateful and it's fueling them to view anyone against their non-sense as being hateful. It's just them mirroring their hatred and placing it on the others. Not understanding people may be against it for being retarded non-sense they see as harmful.

You mean usual schizo ministers came out in grand proclamations that don't have any real effect. But even kicking out the Gazans out doesn't constitute a genocide, else pretty much every military loss and the resulting population transfer is now a genocide, meaning the term is effectively meaningless (not that it had a lot of meaning once they started adding nebulous definitions like removing cultural heritage).

It does, but this gets to what I mentioned a few days ago. This year will be having the definition of what a genocide is changed as cover for Israel. It's probably interesting to look back on the way the Israeli lobbies have been pushing how genocides are discussed internationally for a few decades to ensure the holocaust is seen as the singular one, with the end goal of desire for a greater Israel. It's connected as long term policy has always been pushing out the people of the West Bank and Gaza.

Every Pfp is practically oozing "not like other gurrrrrrls" energy. And the worst part is that they'd probably sperg up something fierce if you even think of calling them "girls".

Right before they go into heavy denial that they'd ever be pissed off, because haha, they never do.

Just by looking at those avatars I can tell that they fall into categories: fat girls, and fat girls pretending to be boys. Both groups probably spend a lot of time crying in bathrooms.

Maybe first they'll change the definition of refugee so Palestinians won't be able to "inherit" the status unlike literally every other """ethnic""" group. The argument is specifically strange since modern conversation on genocide are nearly entirety on population transfer and removing culture as a way to shame western nations, while actual mass deaths are ignored because it's something only the browner countries do.

Looks like one of the children running his admin is speaking their mind. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't view their own opinions as his at this point. Since they have to be writing everything he says. I mean he can't even walk off a stage without almost hands-on help. (getting to the point where direction help isn't enough)

oh wow it was on the huff post, it must be true, it was even on the interwebs :-O

btw this is an interesting article that shows how the owner of the LA Times wants its journalists to be anti-Israel

So he wanted to protect a bunch of people who not only went out of their way to scream their biases to the public, but also tried to subvert official coverage too. These are the type of demands the ideologues had:

The letter condemned Israel’s bombing of Gaza and demanded that newsrooms use language like “apartheid,” “ethnic cleansing” and “genocide” to refer to the Israeli military operations in the region. It has been signed by more than 1,400 current and former journalists around the world.

And this was in Nov.. The very beginning of things. Before it even got started really.. They were already demanding pro-terrorist propaganda.
Oh wow.. 1400 journoscum's opinions are equal to less than dirt to me. Especially ones who fight for and demand biased political/ideological reporting.

And for context.. especially in regards to the owner and his daughter crying that they weren't informed first about the choice made by the guy put in charge of running the newsroom:

After conferring with his top deputies, Merida ordered that those journalists be recused from writing about the Gaza conflict for 90 days, reminding staff of the company’s ethics and fairness policy. The policy outlines that a “fair-minded reader of the Times news coverage should not be able to discern the private opinions of those who contributed to that coverage, or to infer that the organization is promoting any agenda.”

We need more overt policies that are enforced in media today.

It becomes more clear why:

But Merida did not inform Soon-Shiong until after the decision was implemented. The billionaire and his daughter, Nika, both made clear they did not agree, according to two individuals. Nika Soon-Shiong, 30, is vocally anti-Israel. Her X social feed has a Palestinian flag in her bio, and a pinned tweet comparing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with Cecil Rhodes, the racist founder of Rhodesia. (Nika Soon-Shiong did not respond to requests for comment made through LinkedIn and her charity, Fund For Guaranteed Income.)

“It’s highly unusual for the owner, or a family member, to be expressing viewpoints when or if she has some influence over the editorial direction of her family’s publication,” said Farhi. “Traditionally, ownership has taken its hands off on controversial issues. They don’t express direct opinions like this, except through the editorial board of their publication…. That’s why you hire an editor to run the newsroom.”

EDIT:

lol at this comment. I wonder how long it'll stay up.

I'm sure the Houthis tanking the Egyptian budget in the name of Palestine hasn't helped matters:

I always get a good laugh out of people saying the Houthis are hurting Israel in their "blockade". Israel is impacted somewhat, like with every other country that might use the Suez to trade, but it's Egypt that's being absolutely fucked by this. It will never not be funny seeing Arabs fuck over other Arabs in their desire to hurt Jews.

In reality it’s Persians using Arabs to hurt Arabs. I, as one of god’s chosen people, the Eternal Anglo, respect this tactic but can’t but help feel they’re culturally appropriating my people.

Amazing how it's always someone else's fault and never Simple Joe's utterly inept leadership.*

*But we all know it's his dipshit Millennial staffers and handlers that call the shots, not Joe himself.
