Off-Topic Things Troons Have Ruined

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Business emails. There is not a single troon or troon-adjacent person where I work, but almost everyone has their pronouns in their bio.
Offices or workplaces in general. So many mandatory inclusion trainings now (that normally claims to be about LGBT but overwhelmingly is about troons and pronouns)

Good Lord, how is Bionicle a trans allegory?! Curse you, troons.
They assume Mask of Light to be a trans allegory because Takua- supposedly a Ta-matoran (Fire elemental) becomes the Toa of Light, never mind how it's later revealed in lore that he was actually an Av-matoran (Light elemental) all along, and matoran transforming into Toa of the same element is a fairly regular occurrence, and the usual means of Toa coming into existence. What Takua's transformation in Mask of Light was actually an allegory for was for growing up and accepting your responsibilities, a good message for kids and anyone with a halfway functioning brain, but I can see how it flew over the head of your average troon. They also seem to collectively claim Tamaru (A Le-matoran character from the first Mata Nui Online Game) as one of their own for... reasons? I don't know why, and any attempt I've heard trying to explain it just sounds like :lunacy: to me, but good luck convincing them this member of the all-male Air tribe is anything other than a heckin valid trans girl uwu.

I guess that's my contribution to the thread: fan theories for any kind of media. Partaking in fan theory discourse used to be a fun pastime and avenue for creativity for me, but after so many times hearing "[story] was secretly a trans allegory!" or "[character] is actually trans, because I said so!", it kind of lost it's appeal.

Troons ruined any chance of fags having actual healthy respectful relationships.

Being a fagmosexual already made it extremely difficult to find people who aren't hypererotic sexpests who refuse to take 'no' for an answer. But now that the sexual overton window has shifted unimaginably far towards being a degenerate and walking consent-accident-manifester, literally everyone I see in ""tHe cOmMuNiTy"" is obsessed with polygamy, cuckery, legitimate emotional and physical abuse, what I call 'Hollywood BDSM', ageplay, petplay, and it's normalised every other fucking weird and disturbing fetish that's out there so much people now have to think up new weird and almost physically impossible shit to be degenerate about.

Relationships seem to now ONLY exist in the Gay Noosphere as a way to fulfil sexual perversions and push them on other people, not as a way to actually meet and spend your life with someone you might describe as your 'better half'.

Happy LGBTQ+ History Month, guys! Look forward to seeing you in the mandatory meeting about it tomorrow morning!

I'd say they ruined it, but I'm pretty sure troons and LGBTQAMAP+ shit started in the Earthbound fandom. The MOTHER franchise was always seen as progressive, but the community was dedicated and easygoing. But towards 2016 places like Starmen.net began to become stricter with their rules and what you could and couldn't say right around the time gender stuff was starting to take hold. I lost a lot of friends due to not agreeing with they way things were going and when I last poked my head onto their forums the only thread that's still sort of active is the gender thread and almost EVERYONE has trooned out.

I fucking hate that every time I see something to do with Earthbound there's a bitter resentment deep in my chest.

Isn't that the app where a lesbian got kicked off for putting female only or something on her profile?
I dunno, but it's the app Irish divorced loser Graham Linehan signed up for to do some transphobic trolling on. He got banned and the app's creators spoke out in support of trans people.

How many so-called lesbians on the app are trans?

The hell would I know? I'm not their statistician. They're on Twitter if you want to ask them.
