Off-Topic Things Troons Have Ruined

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Strong female characters in scifi: Look for discussion about the character, bump into a dozen "she's literally me" TIMs shit takes.
Retro tech and art style: TIMs are obsessed over these and I hate it. Can't look things up without seeing trans flag emojis and pfps. 100% of the time I see a "As a woman..." in these spaces it's a TIM.

The Y2K Aesthetic / Futuristic aesthetics in general. Revisionism of late 20th century futurism and consumerism seems to be an oddly specific and common trend with these people.

They've also seemed to latch onto the whole "low poly aesthetic" common in 5th gen consoles in the past few years, especially when it comes to matching games from that era that had a cartoony art style (Kirby 64, Mega Man Legends) or at the very least had textures that looked like pixel art.

The irony is that the N64 A) used anti-aliasing to prevent textures from looking too pixely, which resulted in everything looking either muddy or blurry and B) the system was supported most by western developers (Turok, WWF No Mercy, Midway), while all the wacky Japanese stuff (save for 1st party outings and the occasional one-off like Snowboard Kids) was on PS1 and Saturn (and need I remind you 75%ish of the Saturn's library never made it outside Japan).

There's a noticeable population of them in Team Fortress 2 these days. The popular community servers like Uncletopia are true believers, but it's more of a mix on Valve casual servers. Usually it's just in the form of annoying trans/furry accounts with "trans rights" in the name, that join and spam the same, or ":3 uwu"-type stuff. They've not managed to take hold on Valve servers because it's a pretty much unmoderated space, and the trans/furry decals and conscientious objectors are balanced out by the edgy ones like swastikas. It's the main reason I'm opposed to the game getting too much demand for updates, since I'm sure with enough attention the cathedral would notice that there's a vestigial space that hasn't been brought up to speed with the modern ideas about top-down, scale-tipping moderation.
And finally… friendships! I know three women whose partners became middle-aged transbians.
Christ! If you have a fella, don't let him drink the tap water wherever you live, lmao.

The other major thing I'm taken by that hasn't already been said in this thread is just how unbelievably powerful troons are. They can say anything about anyone, and all of TwXtter will believe it. They can take over pretty much any space/community and ensure no one questions it. They can get entire sites banned off of hosting services (*COUGH* :null: *COUGH*) and no one will question it.

The irony is that if people were to call me "trans'phobic'", at this point I'd respond with "Then stop giving me reasons to be scared of you!"

Harry Potter.

I thought it was shit anyway, but if you like it you can’t like it in peace without some autistic faggot REEEEEing in your ear about omG tHe eVuL TeRf!!! and waggling their hate boner around.
That's kind of funny though, because the intersection of transrights nuts and HP superfans was very close to the union of the two sets before JK went off-script. One of the very few cases where something was completely ruined for them instead of the other way around.

On the subject, the name Lilith. Instant dead ringer. I still don't fully understand why they're so hot on that name, is it because of some kind of anti-Christ vibes?

I'm convinced this is an almost fully top-down happening. It's like when you disrupt an ecosystem and a moderate-sized input forcing causes an disequilibrium and eventual total collapse. If two set of thought compete in a space, then one might become more dominant than the other and establish something of a consensus, but if there's a force wholly above that organic competition (moderation, TOS) that has a bias one way, the favoured side will always win, and (IMO) will keep becoming more and more extreme until the moderator is forced to become even-handed with respect to the new standards of competing thoughts, and re-establish an equilibrium. Problem is that we're at the point where all of society has become another one of these spaces, and western governments are fully committed to the cause and willing to keep restricting the overton window through actual laws and police intimidation.

Honestly, fandom or at least a few i'm in.Its hard to have a conversation about some of the shows I'm into without some fan bringing up LGBTQ+ shit.Headcanons for shows aren't even interesting anymore because 90% of the time its just "So and so is a genderqueer polysexual", and its hard to find good ideas for the show.Even this one lesbian and bisexual women I talk to admitted how frustrating it is talking to fans because thats mostly what they talk about.

Troons absolutely ruined the furry fandom (more than it already was, anyway). Before people of gender took over, it was already infested by pornsick perverts, animal rapists, and NAMBLA types - many of them popular or in 'leadership' positions. There were also still a disproportionate number of troons, but they could typically be ignored and mostly isolated themselves to their tumblr safe spaces. One could at least peacefully enjoy artwork depicting anthropomorphic animals while maintaining distance from the groomers.

I first observed troons beginning to seriously infest and control community spaces in the leadup to Trump being elected. Ever since then, it's just been worse every year. Furry artists themselves have been colonized by poonery and troonery, and it's nearly impossible to follow artists without genderspecials constantly being centered and normalized. Pick a random furry artist and look at their Xitter bio. Chances are there's at least a tranny pride flag and pronouns, often accompanied by an HRT start date (because everyone needs to know this I guess).

Now there's volumes of fetish art where the artist has prominently drawn the zippertit scars while the image is somehow rated 'sfw'. Even if you follow non-troon artists, they'll eventually start reposting troonery or troon-adjacent politisperging. It can no longer be avoided or ignored. 'Trans' is now shoehorned into almost every discussion in furry community spaces.

And may God help anyone even remotely normal who attends a furry convention. There's always been degenerate predators who attend, but things have gotten much worse since troons started taking over. They're notorious sex pests and groomers, and even though they always seem to be on some kind of government welfare they still always manage to e-beg for enough money to attend and ruin conventions. No one is safe around them. Just like everywhere else they go, they insert themselves into spaces where they are unwanted and will become a massive problem if you try to remove them.

The entire furry fandom seems to exist now as a pipeline to indoctrinate susceptible people into gender ideology. Just like in every other fandom they've infected, people of gender target individuals who are socially outcast, going through a rough time, or are socially inept due to autism. They then befriend them, welcome them into their Discord server, and then slowly manipulate them. They love bomb them and manipulate them into believing the narrative that many of their problems in life are actually because they were born the wrong sex, and that by gender transitioning they can improve their life for the better. I lost a good friend to the gender cult this way.

I use Reddit
You don't say.

Lesbian dating app called "Her" disagrees.

Look them up on Twitter, they hate TERFs.
The hell would I know? I'm not their statistician. They're on Twitter if you want to ask them.
I've read this pair of messages like four times and I still don't understand what the fuck you're on about.

Otherwise, I think you'll do well here. Go get 'em, Tiger.

They somehow managed to make schools worse than they already are.

Before they came along, the biggest thing I worried about when it came to sending a kid there was whether they'd actually hit their milestones when they should. Now I worry whether some androgynous gender-faggot teacher is going to secretly give them hormones and have them taken by CPS if I object to it.

Troons ruined punk rock. They took advantage of a space that would let you do whatever you want and be whoever you wanted, and once they were entrenched deep enough, they started changing the rules.

In fact, thats the problem with every space trannies invade. First they enter a tolerant space, then weaponize tolerance against whoever was there already. 'Erm, actually, this is transphobic. and so is this, and this. and this. and this' on and on and on. First they're given the benefit of the doubt by well meaning people who say 'Theres no way I could know what Xe is going through, so I'll listen to them when they say such-and-such member of the community is transphobic'. Then it becomes 'Well, maybe we should let a rotpocket be in a position of leadership so they can fairly advocate for their interests. After all, fair is fair.'

Then that's it. Its all over once a single troon has the authority to dictate who is allowed in spaces. They move goalposts, ban, and abuse their power until everyone in the space is just. like. them. Once they've taken root like that, you might as well forget you ever enjoyed that community, because there is no getting it back.

Good Lord, how is Bionicle a trans allegory?! Curse you, troons.
I saw a YouTube video pop up in my feed once, "How Bionicle the Mask of Light is a Trans Allegory". I have never wanted to go more postal in my entire life. The movie is basically just LoTR so it's a heroes journey. Matoran, Toa, and Turaga are three different species in Bionicle. The Toa Mata were created by Artahka, and Matoran can become Toa if it's their destiny (one of the three virtues), and with another toa bestowing toa energy to Matoran as seen in the second movie. When a Toa completes his or her destiny they become a Turaga.

In the movie the Matoran Takua (an Av (light) Matoran who was hidden among Ta (fire) Matoran), accepts his destiny to become a hero. He doesn't mutilate himself, he doesn't kill himself, he doesn't pretend to be something he's not. He embraces what the universe has chosen for him. Besides a heroes journey, it's possibly and ironically about accepting yourself and your role in the world, not playing escapism. Something trannies fail to do. When Takua dons the Kanohi Avohkii and becomes the seventh toa (there were some toa teams with more than the standard six. This was mainly marketing), he has the appearnce of the Toa Nuva (evolved Toa Mata who fell into energized Protodermis - the Mcguffin liquid) was purely an engineering thing as they had the molds already and it would fit with the current line.

I never watched the video, but I hope the troon offed himself by now.
