Russia already controls the areas of Ukraine that produced something like 80% of it's GDP. All the best farmland, industrial centers, etc. Once Odessa falls then Ukraine will be landlocked with no port access. It's hard to imagine what Blackrock can do with Western Ukraine to get their money's worth out of the place. Even if they try that's not good for Ukraine as whatever profit is made gets shipped right out of the country to US shareholders, leaving the Ukrainians destitute with nothing left to re-invest in their own country,

Yeah that will impoverish them. Somalia does not have a GDP as you would know it but it exists.

What they'll do is debtslave the locals and import Africa until there is no true hohol left. Only mystery meat goys who will totally give up Islam and worship Israel, any day now.

And I had my money on Budanov (sp?). What will this Syrsky person mean for us all?
Meatwave after meatwave until there is no one left.

Also, the involuntary recruitment will reach unimaginable new levels. Villages and cities will likely be vacuumed of everyone to send to the front to die in an artillery strike.

EDIT: anyway, this is GREAT news. None of this bullshit "negotiate a peace deal", now we are 100% back to "fight until the very last man" and "no negotiations". Thus the de-industrialization of Germany can proceed as planned.

So are Mi gunships still being used? All I see from Russia footage are the ka-52 alligator
You mean the classic Hind? Haven't really seen too much footage of them recently (admittedly I don't keep up too much with war footage). More than likely due to the combination of MANPAD anti-air still being pretty hot along the frontlines, and the fact that the KA-52's can carry far more long-range ATGM's than the Hind the Russians have probably pulled them all back and are keeping them in reserve for if/when they go back on a major offensive.

Given his biography, Syrsky may be /ourguy/, bros.
🟠 He was born in Russia and received his military education there, at the Moscow Higher Combined Arms Command School. After the collapse of the USSR, he began serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;

🟠Back in the mid-tenths, he interacted with NATO officers on the issue of reforms in the Ukrainian army in order to bring it into compliance with NATO standards;

🟠He headed the ATO headquarters and commanded the operation near Debaltseve - a shameful page in the history of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In fact, Syrsky coordinated the slaughter, defeat and further retreat of his own troops, for which he later received an order and a promotion in rank;

🟠At the beginning, the SVO commanded in Kyiv, and then in the Kharkov direction;

🟠Commanded the disastrous defense of Soledar, and then Bakhmut, essentially setting up a meat grinder in which he buried a huge part of Ukraine’s mobilization resource for the sake of media effect;

🟠He became one of the fathers of the Ukrainian counter-offensive, about which there is nothing to say. As a result of it, Zaluzhny was removed, and Syrsky was appointed commander in chief, so that at least someone would be there.

It feels like he's getting rid of anyone who wants to start talking about ending the war.
He has a golden parachute that no one else has since he can be a very rich political exile and will be made a hero in the nu-west for becoming one. The US and NAFO elites have just outright said on multiple occasions that this entire war is all about just doing damage to Russia. By extension that means doing as much damage as possible to the regions of Ukraine that are currently contested since one way or another those regions will be part of Russia.
