Putin bloviates and filibusters questions but it's clear he knows what he's doing. Where Obama was the gay theater kid acting on emotions, Putin is playing into the heel who has the ego to make you feel he's right, or at least so convinced compared to the weak faggots in the west. It's a good showcase of political intimidation, not even the threat of fighting the west but "I will do what I want and you cannot stop me because you have already tried and failed."

Watching right now:
First 20 minutes: Ukraine's borders are a 20th century Communist invention and kind of fake & gay
Next 15 minutes: The USA proved over and over since the Cold War ended that it can't be trusted and doesn't respect treaties or other agreements, and the President doesn't actually run the government, the CIA does. I don't really care what they say about anything any more.
Next 10 minutes: Ukraine elections are fake & gay because the US intervenes with a coup whenever it doesn't go their way. Last round was 2014, and that put things in motion leading to today. CIA-backed government started persecuting Donetsk & Crimea to consolidate the coup, which is why Russia intervened. Putin's still pissed about them ignoring an earlier agreement to guarantee the security of the previous government and backing a coup instead.
I'm stopping here, but an overwhelming theme here is that Putin is infinitely beyond giving a shit what anyone in Washington says about anything any more, ever. As far as he's concerned, the word of the American government, even when backed by a signed treaty, is worth less than toilet paper. And he makes a good case - the US government hasn't just acted that way with Russia. In general, it's made decisions over the last 20-30 years on the premise that past guarantees mean nothing if discarding them mean a momentary advantage.

The whole fucking around in Ukraine was a disaster waiting to happen. Anyone with a basic understand of geopolitics knows the Russians are fucking paranoid as hell about their territory in eastern europe and the black sea.
