On this unusually warm day before the New Moon in Aquarius, I decided to go for a walk to one of my favorite local parks. It’s a tiny one down by the river, and has a grove of pine trees where I’ve conducted many a ritual. Some of these stand in a loose circle, something my ancestors probably would have deemed a sacred site.
I conducted yet another Urð’s well ritual, invoking King Belial for help in obtaining my metoidioplasty. The only difference was that today, I gave some of the hallowed water to each of the standing trees.
Whenever I do a ritual outdoors, I always leave an offering for the
landvaettr, spirits who exist in every natural object. Today, that was in the form of leaving a handmade sweet on one of the large border stones which separate the park from a community garden.
At home as of late, I have also been doing a lot of divining with the runes. I call upon Azazel, the Watcher, to open the gates to the wisdom of the universe, and to protect me from anything malevolent that may be lurking on the other side. Azazel and I have done great work together over the years, both on self-actualization and for justice in external matters, so I trust him completely.
This is the book I have been using. Feel free to check it out, it’s a very in-depth course on
seiðr and
spádómr, the Old Norse traditions of witchcraft and prophecy.
I hope by my next update, I will be sharing pictures of my new “son” with you.
