Why do they always have EXACTLY the same talking points then, literally the exact same line reads in some cases, regardless of the network?

The simple reason? Most media outlets fall pretty hard to one faction or another but they can loosely gang up to either go after one opponent or to circle wagons against an outer opponent. And they are very, very rarely used as attack dogs against their own side.

This is why I think this time around it's chaos, they deviated from the script and the usual ones giving the marching orders are either in disagreement, or just really have no clue what to do.
Honestly, the Carlson-Putin interview wasn't even that particularly interesting, but that's really all they have to play out if they want to ignore this disaster, and they spent the last week trying to downplay and smear it. Hell, some left leaning outlets are already leaning into this Biden press conference, so I think the marching orders are currently out of sync.

There needs to be an age limit, just like there is an age minimum. I vote for 65.
35-65 is a good age range if I do say so myself. (Though I do not think there should be an age minimum beyond age of majority, which is 18, if you can vote and go to war for your country, you SHOULD be able to run for any office)

Certainly a part of things, I feel, but even more to the point I think that it’s because she can’t handle the more direct heat she saw her husband under. As things sit right now she’s seen overall favorably among the left and seen as a pusher of shitty school food but mostly harmless by a good chunk of the right.

But if she gets thrown into the limelight… I just can’t see that continuing. And if she’s anything like her husband, she couldn’t fucking stand the thought of her legacy and reputation being flushed down the toilet, particularly if there wasn’t an almost guarantee of success. She might well WANT the power but isn’t willing to stick her neck on the line for it either.

That may be what "she" wanted, but it's clear that he's far too divisive for that. I don't think he'd say no if Biden dropped dead or out late October, and all he had to do was swoop in and pick up the delegates. Wouldn't even have to debate Trump if it happened late enough..

I know delegate selection for Democrats is extra fucky, but I believe it's in a way that would be beneficial to this happening..

I have yet to see Trump sundown on live TV despite him constantly being in the news. All he says is somewhat silly shit, which is typical for a healthy elderly person. Biden is literally dying before our very eyes. At least Reagan had the sense to leave office before his dementia got this bad.

Trump's still able to string sentences together, while we were seeing signs of Biden's decline when he was still VP. Am I concerned about his age? Sure, dementia/Alzheimer's can hit hard and fast, but Biden was barely able to string words together when he got elected, and look at where he is now. Hell, whenever they trot the guy out, he looks tired until he becomes agitated by something and then he has energy but becomes even more incoherent. It's a world of difference, and you can see if you compare videos of both of their mannerisms from 10 or even 20 years ago. Trump still displays a lot of energy and keeps his cadence even if he stumbles over words, while Biden practically goes through a system reboot when he flubs a line.
