They most definitely do. The women fat activists hate the most are fat girls who can still fit into straight sizes 12-16, or who are plus sizes no bigger than a size 18. They probably also seethe at the fact that Torrid sizing includes a 00 and 0 (human sizes 10 and 12), because you're not a real fat unless you're a 3 and up.
They're just mad they're at the acceptable level of weight where a good chunk of people will still genuinely find them attractive/cute and not be a chaser.
