Dems are winning in 2024. Republicans got their asses whooped so bad in '22 they've resorted to memeing like it's 2016 and going "but muh Democrats " . No passed bills, no bipartisan goodwill, just stonewalling the "good guys". At least when the Dems stonewalled Trump people believed they were "stopping Fascism".

Not saying I support this outcome but don't be surprised if it's another 4 years of Biden or whichever hack they prop up. At least there's no mean tweets and people around the world don't hate us, right?

Ideally the Republicans would've learned from Trump and tried marketing someone without the baggage and if Trump actually cared about stopping the Dems he would've stepped back and been an advisor to this person or at least given the endorsement to his cult.

If Trump wins, the very first and likely only thing of consequence Trump will do in the entire 4 years is pardoning himself of the very illegal shit he's done. Shit any of us would've rotted for with less evidence by now.

There's a bridge in West Seattle that was built in the 70's that started cracking and falling apart in the last few years. It was supposed to last for another 50, but the investigation uncovered the city government embezzled most of the money for the project and had a nepotism contractor build it with significantly inferior materials and outside of engineering specs. Anyone that could have been held responsible is long dead, and it's a deadlock blue city. Local politicians/news pushed the infrastructure bill and used this as a reason why, yet I don't think any of the money from the bill went towards replacing the bridge.

Trump has been the cleanest president since the immediate post-revolutionary period when our founding fathers were cycling through office after their victory over the British.

What they are trying to criminalize is "original classification authority", which would render the president a subordinate of the permanent bureaucrats in the CIA and FBI, lest they be "prosecuted" after leaving office for accessing the classified documents required to do their jobs, or retaining presidential records they're entitled to by black letter law for the construction of their libraries.

This is an ongoing coup under color of law against the office of the presidency writ large with the goal of denying uppity voters the franchise for daring to "choose wrong" in 2016.

They've had him under a microscope since 2015.
The best they could do is have judges blatantly violate every right he has: constitutional and procedural, then declare him guilty with no trial and no legal basis.
His "corruption" on public record is a black eye on the history of our country's judiciary that will take generations to clean up, assuming we the people gain enough power to clean it up rather than simply ending up permanently like Brazil.

It's the type of judicial corruption and abuse I thought was the realm of Orwell's library and the proper response is the immediate halt of all other priorities for major judicial overhauls, including constitutional amendments, but our republic is on the verge of total death.

It's honestly frustating how slow Tucker is in comparision to Putin.
