Boykisser meme brief introduction.
On June 22nd, 2022, Twitter user and artist @Mauzymice tweeted an original GIF of a talking cat character whose eyes become red and hypnotic. Over the course of nine months, the tweet received roughly 3,100 likes.
Months later, on November 9th, 2022, Redditor lilillillie posted a GIF to /r/196 that used a Mauzymice GIF and had a caption reading, "this is how u look saying that shit," earning roughly 2,400 upvotes in four months. The Mauzymice GIF used was originally posted to Twitter on June 25th, 2022, earning roughly 4,500 likes in nine months.
Sometime in early January 2023, an unknown creator added a top caption to Mauzymice's "red and hypnotic" GIF that read, "oooooo you like kissing boys ur a boykisser" (shown below, left). It is currently unknown who the creator of the GIF was, likely originating in a private Discord server. For instance, a screenshot uploaded to Imgur[2] shows a "girlkisser" variant in a Discord server, made on January 9th, 2023.
On January 10th, 2023, Twitter user @PinkDeerfox tweeted an edited screenshot of the "oooooo you like kissing boys ur a boykisser" GIF in which the cat's eyes were painted black and the text read, "you like kissing boys don't you". The tweet received roughly 6,700 likes in two months and is currently the first-known posting of the specific meme. On January 11th, Twitter user @_Moon_Runner_ posted the "oooooo you like kissing boys ur a boykisser" GIF as a reply to @PinkDeerfox, earning over 210 likes in two months. That is an average of 2542 messages per day, 1270 messages per user, thus 5 messages per day per user. That is absolute insanity. Here's a distribution of these messages among users:

One of the reasons why I've brought this up is because Ethan is a perfect target for grooming into this shit.
