Tucker Carlson Reportedly Spotted In Moscow As Fans Speculate Interview With Putin

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson was reportedly spotted in Moscow over the weekend, leading fans to speculate he plans on interviewing Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to the popular Russian telegram channel Mash, Carlson after arriving to the country on February 1st has spent the last three days in Moscow. The conservative firebrand was first seen boarding a plane on Turkish Airlines from Istanbul to Moscow Vnukovo airport.

On Saturday, Carlson reportedly attended the ballet “Spartacus” at the Bolshoi theater in the Russian capital. Pictures began to surface over the weekend showing Carlson at the theater and in the airport heading to Russia.

Some right-wingers on X, formerly known as Twitter, began to speculate Carlson may be the country to interview Putin.

Previously, Carlson said he had planned to sit-down with the Russia president while at Fox News but then called it off claiming the U.S. government was monitoring him.

“I tried to interview Vladimir Putin, and the U.S. government stopped me,” Carlson told the Swiss publication, Die Weltwoche back in September. “By the way, nobody defended me. I don’t think there was anybody in the news media who said, ‘Wait a second. I may not like this guy, but he has a right to interview anyone he wants, and we have a right to hear what Putin says.'”

I forgot this little fact:
Putin can speak fluent English. He could've held the interview in English without the need for an interpreter, but he still did it in Russian. :story:
Using a translator even when you don't need one is a classic strategy to give you more time to think about your answers before giving them and to blame any bad press on mistranslation.

He can speak fluent German as well, and has been doing that in the German parliament at least once before.

Americans and much of Western Europe just can’t understand. Just ask a proud Hungarian about the Treaty of Trianon.
You know, that's an interesting point. In America's relatively short history, we've fought over land, negotiated for land, or straight up bought land, and we've walked away the winner every single time. The only territory we have lost, we gave away willingly (Phillipines, Cuba, or Panama).

It never even occurs to the average American that it has been any other way for foreign nations, and that they might resent being on the losing end of some old-ass treaty or ancient war.

Lot of Americans are familiar enough with history to know borders have shifted around for a lot of countries over the centuries. Many Americans have even come from other countries or are recently descended from those that dealt with those issues of losing territory.

The whole reason many side with Palestinians is because they're empathizing with these people that immigrated there and feel their territory was stolen.

The concept is not going over people's heads, they're often just disagreeing with the idea that Russia in particular has a reason to want to kill to expand its territories.

I doubt his English is good enough for this interview. Even in that segment it sounds like he rehearsed a lot. He probably knows enough to be able to hold basic conversations with English-speaking heads of state, but if he’s going to be talking in his area of expertise for 2 hours it makes sense that he would want to do it in his native tongue.

Why should US care if Russia puts Nuclear ICBM in Cuba.
Why should US care if Russia sold ICBMs capable of being equipped with nuclear warheads to North Korea.

Relevant term to learn:
You know mate, cuban crisis was during time when ussr was actually super-power. After dissolution they are hardly regional power and after “two years long 3 week special military operation” they are clowns.

I hate to be a nitpick about something petty, but when you are calling someone a loser, it helps if you know how to fucking spell you mongoloid faggot.
A man was asked a question, the man answered the question he was asked, and you run in screaming, caked in two weeks of your own feces "WHO ASKED YOU!!!" If you don't want to hear answers, don't ask questions.
Grammar check, ok. I dont understand the second paragraph. I didnt run anywhere. And russian intepretation of reality is always funny.

Still, everybody does not always get to do what they want due to who their neighbors are.

And sure Russias army have a shitty doctrine, so does Ukraine.

Wasn't a "grammar check", was pointing out you can't spell loser while calling someone a loser. And it was a metaphor to mock you. A question was asked, an answer was given. You disproving of the answer doesn't mean the answer wasn't given.

NAFO cope and seethe. The west has given 10s and at this point probably 100 billion, and Ukraine is to the point of conscripting old men and women. The idea it's just Russia against some plucky upstart is some premium cope. Russia will still reclaim rightful Russian clay when the west tires of throwing money away on the homosexual leader of ukraine.

I dont get it, did i disaprove that Putin give Carlson answer or what? That thing with NAFO cope? Mate, большой Красная Армия, second strongest army in the world, is fighting for like two years with chochols. Thats what I called comedy gold.

So you should just pissed yourself and let your neigbour do anything they want?
Yes and no.

No because in a perfect world, each country must pursue its interests for the benefit of its citizens, hopefully making their lives better to the extent of its ability. Yes because centers of geopolitical power on the map are just as much a reality as geographical features like access to sea, rivers, mountains or mineral deposits, and if a country happens to be located close to one, it needs to account for this fact in its calculations. Failure to do so leads to conflicts. This is not fair, but life outside of children's books and Marvel movies generally is not.

Of course, one does have to take your more powerfull neigbour in the account. But if your neigbour proclaim loudly that you have no right to exist on your own, you must do something about that. Maybe like alliance with another power. It worked very well for czechoslovakia before WW2.

He also sounds rather creepy to me when he's speaking English. It's unlike American Immigrants who grew up in Europe. That video in the quotes he sounds very robotic. I definitely prefer my friend's accent which sounds to me comes off funny and a bit pompous than Putin's English.

The idea of hundreds of thousands dead is really funny stuff. An entire generation of young men just wiped completely out, country bombed to shit. Your forceful ignorance, almost a weaponized level of stupidity, your complete of willingness to understand a broader picture is stunning.
.
Back on topic, other than the memes has anyone noticed the EU reaction, or anymore goofy shit from the media?

When Tsar calls his Faithfull to the arms, everyone must answer it and potentially sacrifice their life for the Motherland. Common Russians have same peasant mentality like they have two hundred years back. It's not that big loss.
