The Sims went literally all-in on cashing in on the troon trend in The Sims 4
Heh I knew you were going to mention The Sims.
To me troons ruined the Spanish language. Well no, it wasn't just troons, it was feminists and left-wing faggots that started shoving the "gender-neutral" words like "latinx".
Around 15 years ago someone decided that the masculine form as the neutral was wrong, so using both the masculine and feminine forms at the same time was more inclusive. So for example, instead of saying "empleados" to refer to a group of employees, people started saying "empleados y empleadas".
At that moment I didn't like that, because it made sentences much longer. But now I prefer it to the variants "empleadxs" and "empleades".
Spanish is around 20% longer than English, meaning that we use more and longer words. So imagine that now, to make it more "inclusive", some people add even more words or change them altogether.
So another example, "children" is "niños", but now is "niños y niñas", "niñxs", "niñes", "infancias" ("childhoods"). But according to the faggots this way you are actually including boys, girls and non-binary children.
The real problem is that the average latin american doesn't know how to write in Spanish, so when they try to use the "inclusive vocabulary", they do it wrong.
And the people who should be gatekeeping the use of the language, like linguists, writers, translators, journalists, etc., are okay with this butchering. But I don't want a Spanish full of X's and E's. It's Castilian, not fucking Basque.
