don't forget trump said 4 years ago he wants america to go into space, if he really is all about the space thing he'll probably get a lot more support under trump than the dems.
Maybe, spaceflight right now is honestly a fairly non-partisan issue. On the right, the spaceflight sector has finally moved away from primarily government driven with the incredible grift levels of the ULA just eating all the money that NASA was allocated, to being primarily commercial interest driven, and they do love their private companies. Additionally, most of the development and advancement in that sector has been both domestic manufacturing, and red focused in Texas and Florida. Spaceship parts are so incredibly high value add that its not usually worth the hassle of trying to offshore it and avoid any potential quality concerns, its preferable to spend the price for american labor to be absolutely sure a bad part won't lead to losing a nine figure launch vehicle.

On the left, spaceflight is still seen as more or less synonmous with their perception of the endless march of progress only existing in one direction, and of the march of scientific knowledge. Even the environmentalists aren't too miffed - spaceflight agencies really get held to the fire on all environmental reviews, and the current primary fuel of spaceflight is hydrogen and oxygen, which is as clean of a fuel as you can possibly get. Even its developing successor in the form of methalox rockets just put out some Co2 and oxide byproducts, and is still very clean by fuel standards. No idea how the IdPolitic wing sees it, they did get plentiful women in space, without really sacrificing capability since "plentiful" is still just tens - And they do get to pick from the complete cream of the crop for this.

The only reason I could think of for Bezos having a better time under trump than the dems would be that his specific flight niche is basically rich people joyrides, which might not get the same lefty support compared to cheap satellite internet, or trips to the moon. On the flip side, the Left is conflicted about Musk right now, and Bezos is trying to present himself as some form of competition still.

They never had a point. Ever. To put it bluntly: there are elements active on this mudball that want you to never be able to leave this plantation.
Black communities in the 50s and 60s were wildly different than today. While you still had plenty of violent criminals and degenerates, they had to share spaces with black lawyers, doctors, pastors, etc. The rich blacks kept the poor blacks more or less in check, and the poor blacks were more ashamed to embarrass their community leaders. Then real estate banking was desegregated and all the black people worth a shit moved to the suburbs and left the riff raff in the ghettos without ever looking back. When the rich blacks left, the Democrat party stepped up to take their place with entitlement programs that encouraged fatherless homes and has led to the current state of black America.

Pro welfare movements have hated space travel for decades. A lot of black activist groups protested the Apollo missions because that money would have been better spent in the ghettos. Desegregation caused a lot of black flight around that time so the ghettos weren't warzones like they are today, so they may have had a point early on.
Which is still a retarded view for them to have adopted because the money for the space program actually made things better, we have wasted a lot more money on shit like propping up third world shitholes and funding the occasional revolution or war than we did the space race because the space program accomplished good and the other shit just stretched our resources and created chaos.

And then there is the fact that, as we are seeing now in modern times, no amount of throwing money at the ghetto will get the ghetto to stop being the ghetto.

When you look at the statistics for black communities in the 50's and 60's and compare them to statistics now it is enraging. The DNC literally crushed blacks and yet blacks keep voting for them.

And the result harms everyone.

Putin could literally wipe Ukraine off the map - it's the international community he had to navigate.
This is the big thing to always remember about the invasion of Ukraine; Putin could have had the country conquered already but has had to fight the war with one hand tied behind his back purely for the fact that a full-on invasion would have triggered the world war that the rest of the world is itching for and give them the excuse to invade Russian and kill Putin.

No, they never had a point. Know-nothing, proud ignorant blacks/pro-welfare whites have always been bitter little maggots who hate the space program/NASA for taking money they feel should be spent on them. There was even a song (Whitey On the Moon) which amounts to a black guy demanding white people pamper them and coddle them/give them free money for doing nothing while whining that white people were using that money for going to the moon along with an episode of Mad Men where Sally Draper spends half an episode flirting with a jock until his anti-NASA/pro-welfare state rantings lead her to ditching him for his nerdy younger brother who supports NASA.

They literally did get billions for their black communities at the same time Apollo was going on. And it was done by Lyndon Johnson making sure that niggers would vote D for the next 200 years. It also literally started the meme of absent black dads because it gave "single mothers" welfare which started a trend of avoiding having the dads live with the family so they could grift welfare money. Worked so well it sabotaged black families forever.

I hate the message of Whitey On The Moon but that song slaps. I love to quote it and parody it.

If you seriously saw this…

And didn’t think it was rigged? You need to get checked for being a complete retard.

All the surveys and studies and investigations won’t mean shit. Everyone with a IQ past 40 knows it was rigged, lmao.
If you magically find ballots, AND NOT EVEN ONE vote was for the opposition.

And your response to questioning this shit is "TRAITOR REEEEE J6 BAD GITMO NO CHARGE."

And then you expect to be some moral authority afterwards?
lol. lmao.

That's because all these low-IQ types that scream about funding social programs with no return at the expense of the space program aren't capable of understanding how much technology gets developed by the space program that ends up trickling down into products for everyday use. And I'm not just talking about Velcro. Just looking up a simple list showed:

  1. Memory Foam: Originally developed to improve the safety of aircraft cushions, memory foam was later used in mattresses, pillows, footwear, and even medical applications due to its ability to distribute pressure evenly and provide comfort.

  2. Scratch-Resistant Lenses: NASA's research into coatings to protect space equipment led to the development of scratch-resistant coatings for eyeglasses and sunglasses, enhancing durability and longevity.

  3. Invisible Braces: The translucent ceramic material used in braces was developed by NASA for heat-seeking missile tracking systems. This material is now used in orthodontics for nearly invisible braces.

  4. Cordless Tools: NASA needed lightweight and powerful tools for space missions, leading to the development of cordless technology that is now ubiquitous in power tools used in construction, DIY projects, and everyday repairs.

  5. Water Filtration Systems: NASA's research into water purification systems for space missions led to the development of advanced filtration technologies used in water purification systems for homes, industries, and disaster relief efforts.

  6. Smoke Detectors: NASA's work on developing a highly sensitive smoke detector for Skylab led to the creation of improved smoke detection technology used in residential and commercial smoke detectors.

  7. Insulation: NASA's research into insulating materials for spacecraft led to the development of reflective insulation materials used in homes and buildings to improve energy efficiency by minimizing heat transfer.

  8. Portable Cordless Vacuums: NASA developed compact and lightweight vacuum cleaners for space missions, which later inspired the design of portable cordless vacuums for household use.

  9. Improved Baby Formula: NASA's research on algae as a potential food source for long-duration space missions led to the development of nutritional supplements such as Omega-3 fatty acids, which are now commonly added to infant formula for brain development.

  10. Digital Image Sensors: The technology behind modern digital cameras and smartphone cameras can be traced back to NASA's work in developing high-resolution image sensors for space exploration missions.

Having the VDV attempt to invade Kiev over land in their soda can IFVs/AFVs was Putin attempting a coup de grace against Ukraine. Too bad it turned into a highway of hell and the meatgrinder has continued since then.

When I heard in the month or two before the invasion that there would be "military exercises" in Belarus I made jokes about how Belarusian farmers would be enjoying lower diesel prices for their tractors that spring. It turns out the vast majority of the Russian military apparatus was thinking the same thing, in retrospect. (for those who may be retarded: the stupid bastards who sold the fuel they'd need to wage war on the black market didn't think papa putin would push it that far) It sort of fucks up your Sun Tzu tier strategies when the little guys are selling off the supplies needed to make your masterful grand stroke to break the back of the enemy feasible.

Before the outbreak of the war I thought Putin was realistic enough in his assessment to assume that at least half of all supplies were forfeit to corruption.

I mean, that explains why niggers hate NASA…

Low-hanging joke, but I had to go for it

Kamala seems to be coping with how things are going pretty well. I suppose I'd be getting drunk too, if I were working in the White House.

Holy shit I know a drunk stepmom when I see one.

It would actually be more comforting to see signs of behind-the-scenes puppet masters somewhere. Maybe they take weekends off?

The lizardmole underlords of Agartha have already taken the puppetmaster overlords out back and euthanized them for this colossal series of fuckups. Takes a minute for the adrenochrome psychosis to kick in so that the replacements are good and obedient. It'll be back to business as usual before you know it

It took upwards of a full century before the north american colonies were even remotely self-sufficient.
If we're going to colonize space it's going to be easily that long of continuous investment.
