General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

The deep bows are truly off-putting and the Engrish was funny, but I feel that message was very professional and on point.

There's one point in particular where he acknowledged harassment towards his other talent and apologized for it. If this were a Western company, he would have scolded the general public and the trolls. It's weird to see a company acknowledging that their fuck up is why people are getting harassed.
They gave 2 other statements earlier today disparaging her when it was already done and over.
These were moments before that CEO video and totally contradicts it but we're well beyond one sentence now.

Reading the last couple pages of this thread have only reinforced my opinion. Weebs have extremely strong opinions on the drama despite there being absolutely zero evidence being leaked on either side.
The fact that both sides acknowledge they each have lawyers in talks with each other doesn't indicate this is an easily dispelled situation. We'll just have to wait for the legal shit to start happening but I'd bet my money on the BPD girl 100 times before I blindly believe some sneaky ass Japs were totally forthcoming and not at all psychotic in their business dealings and manager-employee relations

The company admitted multiple times to leaking the info.
Reading comprehension, my nigga. The company said that they showed their vtubers parts of the document that were relevant to them. They also claim that those parts aren't confidential. The company could be lying, they could be fucking up. I have no idea. But you don't have any idea either.

This is true, but nobody is waiting for the legal shit to start happening. Everybody is jumping to conclusions based off their gut feelings. And its possible that both sides fucked up here.

We already know the medical documents got leaked "my nigga."

That's their fault.

They've been bumming things for so long that no one trusts them and they should've just had the talents say nothing and let Riku post his PR vid.
Instead, we got four different post that make them look worse and worse

It's good Riku spoke out, and his response is actually tolerable unlike the vile retardation before that, but it's too little too late. EN's management has a fundamental issue that has to be taken out at root. Internal reporting systems mean nothing if the same management might intimidate the talent into never using them. At this point I'm just tired of corpo Vtuber shit.

You see, the problem is, this is only the second video Nijisanji released today. The first video was them literally shitting on the same former talent that claimed to have been harassed, while leaking confidential information.

The company said that they showed their vtubers parts of the document that were relevant to them.
Which was illegal because it was confidential information.

They also claim that those parts aren't confidential.
And you fucking believe them?!

The company could be lying, they could be fucking up. I have no idea. But you don't have any idea either.
My nigga, my brother in Christ, after everything Nijisanji has done thus far in just this situation, and in every other shitty situation, Niji have absolutely no room for a benefit of a doubt at this point. They have burned every ounce of goodwill.

I agree with this. The talents shouldn't have had to say anything.
And you fucking believe them?!
I don't believe anybody. I'm going to wait for the actual process to carry out, because I'm not an emotional simp who flies off the handle over anime girl drama. We don't know what those documents look like, we don't even know what actually happened.

Niji has constantly said contradictory information while doki's remained steadfast and confident in her statements. Also Niji has repeatedly incriminated themselves. Sorry "nigga"
The only thing Null needs to know is Selen is FAT
That'll just excite him.

Also, the stream that Doki was doing when they decided to do the (self) hit-piece at the same time, since I don't think anyone actually linked it:
(relevant part starts at 7:35 and keeps going downhill)
It's kinda hard to watch as you can tell she is barely keeping it together and gets stuck in a loop a few times.
"a few times"
