The one that Null knows isn't a real cheese, because it's a slab of heavily processed slop. The one that I know is as much of a cheese as any other cheese I ever ate. It's hard, needs a sharp knife to cut, it melts and cooks the same way as any other cheese, and also tastes like cheese.
And it was made in Ireland, not a Kraft factory in the USA. That alone makes it more of a true cheese than what Null believes cheddar is. He constantly prohibits himself from learning the truth that his hatred of cheddar stems from cheese-like abominations made by Kraft, which do not exist in Europe that he loves to fellate for having better food than the US.
Yeah I understand why it would appeal to a non-sex-haver anime avatard to see "stupid bimbo slut epically owned by man who tells her to drink less Starbucks " videos. Men get to see a hot woman publicly humiliated and then can go directly to her OnlyFans, what a brilliant business model! It's not the kind of content I want to watch or support.
This has been happening for literally years. Like, at least a decade at this point. I remember being in a private subreddit with Laurelei when people hated them for whatever reasons, and that was over a decade ago. Is it even news anymore that people think he's a freak?
Imo this is the way to go. I made my own home made stuff with freshly shredded cheddar (a good brick of it I shredded myself) and it was the best Mac and cheese I ever had.
I’ll have to try that out! He’s mostly given up on Kraft slices and just uses which sliced cheese I bring but the quick Mac and cheese has been a bigger issue for him lol
I saw at whole food last time that Annie’s had some form of Mac and cheese similar to Velveta but not sure if it’s the same processed cheese product. I’ll have to google the ingredient list and check it out because he hates the powder ones because he says it’s not as rich. Maybe I’ll break down and just start making him real Mac and cheese lol
I mean if it's not coming from your own dairy that you personally work it's some form of processed cheese product, and all cheese is processed else it would still be raw milk. I can certainly respect the desire to eat cleanly but there's a culture in eating clean that gets deeply autistic and with the social media and tradlarping I try to keep perspective on what does this get me vs what am I exposing myself to, and the Annie's powdered stuff must use some additive (like maltodextrin iirc) to powder the fats in cheese, and likely use the same one's Kraft does, as well as the one the farmers who sold me the powdered cheddar use.
My autistic rant aside, I think you two can have some fun experimenting and finding a recipe you like for your own kind of macaroni, but he may be scratching a nostalgia itch that cannot be scratched otherwise, and in my opinion isn't bad as an occasional part of your cuisine.
Late submission for the news segment:
Hungary got its very own pedophile scandal recently. In 2016, it was revealed that the director of a children's home had been forcing his male wards to perform various sex acts on him. When one of the victims came forward to Child Protective Services about the abuse, the orphanage's assistant director, Endre Konya, tried to coerce him into withdrawing his allegations by threatening to move the boy's cousin (who was also at the same home and his closest living relative) to a different institution. He wrote this "retraction" in the victim's name:
"I made up that we had jerked off together and that he [the director] had done it to other children. The truth is that he didn't pull my pants down and touch me and jerk me off. I've been doing a lot of huffing lately and it hasn't been very good for me either, it's often made me not think clearly ."
In 2021, the director was sentenced to 8, the assistant director to 3 years in prison. They were both barred from working with children. This would've been the end of it, as the case had long faded out of public consciousness even before the sentencing.
Recently however, the assistant director requested a pardon from Hungary's president, Katalin Novak. (Note that the president's powers, save for the ability to grant pardons and veto legislation, are largely ceremonial).
She granted the pardon, reducing his sentence to 5 years probation and also waiving the ban on working with children. This would have gone entirely unnoticed had the assistant director not also appealed his case with a higher court at the same time: That court mentioned the pardon in its decision (which upheld the judgement of the lower courts), so the press caught wind of it.
Novak, who has three children, gave no justification for this. Why would she suddenly take pity on a vile pedophile enabler (and let's be real, probably full blown pederast) out of the blue? Some opposition journos researching the case have found no overt links between Novak or Hungary's ruling party and the chomos, which makes this even more puzzling.
Novak and Judit Varga, the Justice Minister who countersigned the pardon, have both since resigned, still without explaining their decision.
Most detailed articles are in Hungarian, but here's the gist of it in English.

Yeah I agree! We certainly eat our share of trash unfortunately, it's hard to escape unless you're doing your own stuff. We're hoping to do a veggie garden this year I just try and keep an eye on what switches I can make that aren't so bad. This Annie's one was one that has the packet of "cheese" so not the powder, I'm not 100% how it works though. He certainly gets some shells and cheese just probably not as often as he would like because I try to make healthier substitutions lol
I watched the Taylor Swift Eras Tour movie with my girl last night. I highly recommend it. The set design is incredible and I liked more than a few of the songs. My girl loves Tay Tay, I'm indifferent about her tbh, but it is really quite a good show to watch. I get why she has a cult of personality now.
In January 2015, a woman named Zoey Wolfe found the courage to stand up for herself and told her story about Livin' With Laurelai, a massive misjudgment of character which had resulted in Zoey being raped and abused. Others began to come forward and admitted Laurelai had raped, molested, or abused them as well and intimidated them into silence with threats. Laurelai's response to her crimes against brave Zoey and the others being revealed included denial, deception, tantrums, and then a faked suicide.
All the usual suspects has come in defense of Vaush’s lolicon gooning folder:
TIME STAMP: 1:07:55
Tipster basically just says: I don’t even know what the images were at least one of them was probably lolicon but I will still choose to defend him.
Time stamp: 0:27
Jayln basically just says: he downloaded it ACCIDENTALLY guys.
Their arguments just like Vaush’s basically boil down to: Durr he didn’t know it was CP guys trust him bro.
How people drink that dogshit every day is beyond me. I just checked the price for one of their most popular drinks, the caramel ribbon crunch (gross), and it's 6-7 dollars for a large Venti (I think). I've been watching some Caleb Hammer videos recently, and spending exorbitant amounts of money on Starbucks is a pattern, and I personally know people who will blow through $50+ per week on it. I'm convinced it's an addiction combined with a cult.
So is sugar, cleanse your palate for a month (lent starts tomorrow so not a bad time) and tell me ketchup needs the sugar they add. And caffeine isn't the part of Starbucks that is gonna cut your life short.
