Tucker Carlson: Radicalized By His Trip To Moscow

Radicalized By A Trip To Moscow

In a post last week ("A Good Weekend For Russia"), when news broke that Tucker Carlson was in Moscow and might be interviewing Putin, we wrote:
Even if he doesn't get an interview with Putin, Tucker is likely to report what he sees there, and what he's going to see is a city that looks like it's doing well economically (on top of being cleaner and safer than American cities like New York or Los Angeles).
It turns out we were right. In an interview at the World Governments Summit in Dubai, said the trip to Moscow radicalized him:
What was radicalizing, very shocking, and very disturbing for me was the city of Moscow, where I'd never been. The biggest city in Europe, 13 million people--and it is so much nicer than any city in my country, I had no idea. My father spent a lot of time there in the '80s, when he worked for the U.S. government, and barely had electricity. And now, it is so much cleaner, and safer, and prettier--aesthetically: its architecture, its food, its service--than any city in the United States that you have to ask...How did that happen? [...]
And at a certain point, I don't think the average person cares as much about abstractions as the concrete reality of his life. And if you can't use your Subway, for example, as many people are afraid to in New York City because it's too dangerous, you have to sort of wonder like isn't that the ultimate measure of leadership? And that's true, by the way, it's radicalizing for an American to go to Moscow (I didn't know that, I learned it last week), to Singapore, or to Tokyo, or to Dubai in Abu Dhabi, because these cities--no matter how we're told they're run, on what principles they're run, are wonderful places to live. They don't have rampant inflation, you're not going to get raped... [the interviewer interrupts at this point].

See For Yourself

You can watch the full interview below, in which Tucker also weighs in on Biden's mental competency, the war in Gaza, and other topics. Here's a guide to the times when different topics come up, if you'd like to skip to them:
  • 00:00:00 Interview Against U.S. Opposition: Tucker overcomes government spying to secure a Putin interview.
  • 00:01:30 Political Neutrality of Interview: Tucker emphasizes truth-seeking over political bias in interviewing Putin.
  • 00:03:13 Leadership of Putin vs. Biden: Tucker contrasts Putin's effectiveness with Biden's shortcomings.
  • 00:06:08 Decline of U.S. Cities vs. Moscow: Tucker attributes U.S. urban decline to policy failures, contrasting with Moscow's improvements.
  • 00:07:33 Putin's Willingness for NATO Compromise: Tucker discusses Putin's diplomatic efforts and rejection by NATO.
  • 00:09:15 Reaction to Putin Interview: Tucker reflects on negative media and political responses to his Putin interview.
  • 00:15:11 Media's Role in Democracy Erosion: Tucker criticizes media alignment with power, undermining democracy.
  • 00:19:41 U.S. Foreign Policy Morality Questioned: Tucker questions the ethical stance of U.S. foreign engagements including on Gaza.
  • 00:23:15 Uncertainty in U.S. Political Leadership: Tucker highlights the unpredictability of American politics and the value of admitting ignorance.
Let's wrap this up with a brief trading update, since we have to make more money in America to insulate ourselves from the problems here Tucker describes.

So believing I should be able to take the subway without a nigger trying to force his dick into my vagina is radical now? America's nigger worship has destroyed it. Niggers destroy everything they touch. America is dead, and its because of niggers. They even had a jew demanding white people stand for some nigger anthem. Niggers are the reason whites are leaving the USA in droves. Nigger America can fuck off.
I have realized on a parallel note.

White conservatives never really did care about following the teachings of Jesus lol.

If it wasn't for Tucker, most would have not known that large parts of mainstream conservatives were OK with BLM.

I am gonna spare saying much about Tucker since he sees foreign policy and world history through an American perspective and Putin tells versions to Americans that appeal to our ethos and current issues, much as the Russians always did in their propaganda, but comparing Singapore, Tokyo, and Dubai to other cities in the world is kind of dumb since those cities are elite cities, and Tokyo is clean and nice because of Japanese culture. That said Americans are finding out that quality of life and infrastructure is drastically improving everywhere else in the world while Americans can't even upgrade their DMV computer systems. Many things in America are from the 60s-90s needing drastic usability or efficiency upgrades but funding is extremely improperly managed. Many third-world countries have subway systems far nicer than any in America.

Also, America is full of people that are incapable of adapting and doing things for themselves. Many people in America are psychologically incapable of reading instruction manuals.

Well, many belong to and/or support a heretical Christian sect-evangelicals-who love Israel, the very nation of the people that rejected and condemned Christ to death, and that the jews-are somehow absolutely necessary for the Second Coming despite the fact jews have stated repeatedly they believe Gentiles are not allowed into heaven in the afterlife. This weird jew worship, along with nigger worship, has ruined America.

If you only hang out in the amusement park like city centers of a lot of European countries you'll get a pretty warped impression of what every day life is like there. Russia in particular Russia in particular has a problem of a sizeable chunk of their population not even having toilets (some stats saying about 20%), not really something to aspire or really put on the same level as a place like Tokyo.

00:07:33 Putin's Willingness for NATO Compromise: Tucker discusses Putin's diplomatic efforts and rejection by NATO.
Listened to this bit and it's retarded. He seems to buy into the idea that if Russia wasn't let into NATO right away that it means they're enemies? So like Sweden not joining NATO for years meant it was also at war with NATO? What kind of logic is this?

Russia has had numerous occasions over the years to work with the US and other countries, they largely chose not to which is strange behavior if you were wanting to join some alliance with them in the future.

Tucker also mentions in passing that the US no longer enjoys a unipolar world, so he seems to also believe this idea that we're switching over to a multipolar world, when I'm fairly certain the US has never had some sort of control over other countries to even get decent trade deals in place. We've never been able to get Mexico to not act like an obnoxious little shit.

Pfft, at least I know who is buying all my option contracts. I don't understand why people use debit spreads in options, especially around earning when you're paying a premium to hold that contract/contracts. I'd rather be the seller of those contracts, probably make just about the same amount but with a 70% success rate compared to buying....actually, yeah, this article content is about what I'd expect from this type of trader.

What the fuck is this

I know Jackson posts here because every other youtuber is here so I'm going to request that Mr. Hinkle explain himself

Tucker has bought into the Ron Paul view of foreign policy and he shares the similar naivete about America also being a great global evil when really that's a lot of propaganda and a lot we do actually isn't bad. The only thing wrong with Vietnam was the failure--sending bullets tunneling through communist heads has been a great triumph of American foreign policy.

The only problem Russia really has with NATO is that a NATO protected country is impossible for Russia to grab. Most of Russia is a shithole and Ukraine's soil is extremely fertile, and most people are too ignorant and stupid to realize Russia just wants access to the Black Sea (via Crimea) and that farmland. Someone like Tucker probably also believes in Russia's pretenses in Dagestan, Georgia, and Chechyna was also justified. Tucker complains about Ukraine not being a democracy because Zelensky banned parties that were supporting Russia's invasion, but he fawns over Putin and Russia?

Like why are we having this discussion when they already seized Crimea? How stupid are people? Some of these Russia simps are the most pathetic edgelord faggots, like the people that still cheer on Osama bin Laden. It's the exact same fucking thing.

There's a species of man in this world that fawns over powerful people no matter what they do. If those people gain notoriety for ANYTHING, be it cruelty, criminality, being funny, rich, whatever, these people posture and simp for them to bathe in their fame and hope a little splashes back onto them. Look at some of Trump's old simps like Bill Mitchell, that guy probably pasted Trump's head over gay porno (over both fags) and jerked off to it.

Doesn't Tucker know that we've always been at war with Eurasia?!

It's fascinating to watch the distinction between establishment-approved 'oikophobia' (EU-SSR good, Palestinians good, China good (where domestic surveillance, propaganda, corporatism are involved)), and the establishment-forbidden 'oikophobia' (letting Adolfmir Putler say his peace mostly uninterrupted or comparing Moscow to the average Blue bughive where junkies and schizos have free run of the streets, Nayib Bukele jailing 'people' who are dumb enough to tattoo their satanic gang affiliation on themselves, along with the associates facilitating their civilization-wrecking crime sprees, Rodrigo Duterte declaring open war on drug dealers, Viktor Orbán refusing to accept infinity migrants).

Crimea is at least understandable as they wanted access to the sea. Trying at much of Ukraine though came across as completely unnecessary. Made it almost funny hearing Tucker after his Putin interview talk about Russia not being expansionist, when that's sorta the point of the war.

I can understand (and disagree) with people defending Russia's actions, but to say they didn't even occur is getting into slightly insane territory.

I remember Curtis Yarvin speaking about how people should basically want a monarch in control, because with someone with a huge amount of control at the top you could have them give out the right commands to settle all the problems (all of them!). It was the sort of mindset that really hurt Trump during his presidency as many on the right just figured as long as Their Guy was at the top he could have everything sorted.

So whenever Trump publicly spoke in an effort to get the public to rally to something he wanted done, they often took it as a sign that Trump was on the right track so everything would be done without them needing to lift a finger.

This whole mindset also comes up with Putin where people figure he's wanting what's best for Russia so he must be getting that for everyone there. Examining the actions of Putin doesn't seem to really come into play, which I think is largely because of valuing the vibe of the guy rather than looking at specific actions from him.

Maybe, because Moscow doesn't have feral niggers roaming the streets

But they do have a lot of central Asian single males from stan countries.

If Tucker only stayed near Red Square then it's a no shit situation as that is where all the wealth (and security) is. Venture 20mins out of there and Moscow becomes an industrial looking shit hole.
That whole Kremlin proximity area is immaculate, however let's not pretend that is even 1% of Russia.

St Petersburg is superior.

I'd never considered this before.

Although I can't really think of any alternatives.

Not really, no. About industrial shit hole. There are industrial zones in Moscow. There's a less central Asian immigrant problem than 20 years ago, due to new immigration laws. Sankt Peterburg is nicer looking, that I won't contest.

I don't see how we was radicalized. All Putin did was prattle on for 2 hours about "history" with a Russian bias. That's about all he did from what I have heard about the interview. This Putin and Russia worship stuff is very cringey. Most people got over it in the early to mid 2010's. It was funny for the first few years but then retards started taking it serious. It's just cringey now.

Bullshit.
A shoebox apartment in San Francisco or NYC will cost you 5 times per square foot what the same would cost in Tokyo, and yet kids can still be safe going to the corner store alone as young as age 5.

Suggest this in NYC and the shitlib mom will shoot you for it.

> journalist does what journalists used to do a decade ago

> legacy media talking heads all repeat the same script saying he isn't "a real journalist"

> literary journoscum who probably still believe in Russiagate claim he's radicalized by doing a fucking interview

How much do you hate journalists? Because it isn't enough.

It's been a civil war since 2014, long before Russia joined in. Because most of the Eastern regions are Russian and only ended up temporarily in this new country called Ukraine because of a stroke of a Soviet premiere's pen. A region that has been part of Russia and populated by Russian people for a long time that only recently weren't, hardly makes for expansionist. The people there wanted to not be part of Ukraine, they were historically part of Russia. It's far less expansionist than it is simply restoring the historical norm. Hell, by those metrics retaking Kiev wouldn't be expansionist though that would be a different case because the people there didn't want to be part of Russia.

So whenever Trump publicly spoke in an effort to get the public to rally to something he wanted done, they often took it as a sign that Trump was on the right track so everything would be done without them needing to lift a finger.
There was also the QAnon ploy which I see as a modern version of Operation Trust which was a soviet con they ran on Western opponents that pretended to be be insiders with a plan and counselled foreign supporters - 'wait! don't do anything yet, but be ready while we get into position, we will tell you when to act'. Sound familiar? Trust the plan? The actual result being inaction?

Honestly, the meme of "Become ungovernable" is more effective, imo. Patient and organised groups are easy to nudge into doing what you want if you have the resources and control both sides.
