Star Wars isn't a reference to Bush; the closest analogy is the fall of the Roman Galactic Republic and the rise of the Roman Galactic Empire. Palpatine is Caesar. Only leftists saw Bush in it; Lucas himself never said he drew inspiration from him though he did say that he was inspired by Caesar, Napoleon, and Hitler.

Rome is clearly the most important influence: the disinterested and corrupt Senators who can no longer govern effectively, a powerful Senator who raises an army loyal to him and crowns himself emperor, and the aesthetics of Naboo all are clear references to Rome.

For the original trilogy, Lucas mentioned being inspired by Nixon, Vietnam, and the Nazis, but with the exception of the word "Stormtrooper" (copied from the Nazis), the Empire are just generic bad guys.

It's funny how the NY-03 race shows Trump candidate would win, Trump would win the district by 5 if the election was today, but the RNC diversity checklist woman who can't even speak english lost by 7. It's so apparent even the faggots of National Review and Meatball dicksuckers realize the candidate was just bad, she didn't even have her election party in the district and rarely campaigned. The thing is leftists DID see Bush in the prequels. And they made sure everyone knew that they thought it. Once again... I don't see the similarities. Still seething about Bush in 2024 might as well be seething at a politician 200 years ago. You can't change anything that happened. Lingering on it, exaggating what happened through your biases, it's only going to drive you as crazy as the leftists.

I know my opinion is unpopular. But I hate seeing media propaganda spew out of people's mouths that should know better.

My dad said it best this morning.

The RINOs aren't set on winning, they purposely sent out a candidate they knew would lose. The fix was in right from the beginning.

Well with the advent of the Internet, people can look stuff up to find out the reality behind these things and other wild claims like Russia has nukes in space. It's like they're mentally stuck in their mindsets from the Bush-Clinton era and think some approved talking head lying on a teleprompter about WMDs is going to work again.

Google is actually a terrible way to access unbiased information these days. Anything about Russia will present you with MSNBC, CNN, etc.

Kinda funny. The internet spelled death for mainstream media, but the power brokers ended up in bed with each other.
