General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Being signed in to YouTube on one's phone is not a rarity.
On a work account though? Thats my hang up here, It would be a work account of hers so I can't imagine she'd use it too much, and even if she does there is no way she still has notifications on for her account given how many comments she gets.
It's not out of the realm of possibility to have done it inadvertently

To explain quickly, to heart a comment you have to press a heart button under the comment, this button is next to the reply button. This button is nowhere near the Delete button like some speculated and it isn't close to the like buttons either. Personally speaking I do not think its likely she accidentally hit the heart button, you'd need a perfect storm of things to get that to happen on any platform.

Couldn't she have just hit it by accident while thumbing through? It's an easy mistake to make on a device that literally requires you to touch the screen in order to use it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Niji doesn't supply them, but on work phones? Yeah you'd be logged in to the work account.

NIGGER WHAT THE FUCK IS THE RELEVANCE OF NOTIFICATIONS!? I AM BEGGING FOR KNOWLEDGE.

So notifications have nothing to do with it then, and she quite easily could have been drag scrolling through the comments on her own video (you know, where people post to get read by her), and fucked up by tapping the heart button under the comment?

As many others, I've been confused since the termination why Nijisanji didn't part ways with Selen amicably, especially after learning about the suicide attempt.
My main takeaways from Doki's statement on Twitter are:
1) Her and Niji's lawyers all fucked up;
2) There was no confidentiality agreement;
3) Sending a document was either too late or it was the main catalyst for the termination.
If it was too late, then Nijisanji made the decision before seeing it and possibly before even being made aware of the suicide attempt. If it was the main catalyst, then her lawyer sending a stash of dirt that Selen collected on her coworkers sent Japanese lawyers into some sort of emergency protocol. She says that termination announcement came less than two hours after sending the document and her VODs had started being privated at least 28 minutes before the announcement, so the internal discussion at Niji had to be extremely brief at that point - in fact, uncharacteristically brief for them.
The ironic part is that, after a day of memes about how Nijisanji should just shut up and listen to the lawyers, we have now learned that:
1) Nijisanji's lawyers were unresponsive at first and likely told the company to terminate Selen immediately after receiving the document;
2) When Dokibird before consulting with her lawyer claimed on stream that Nijisanji broke a signed confidentiality agreement, she was wrong. I'm not that familiar with Japanese or Canadian law, but this has to be classified as defamation or something like that, right? Not that I expect Nijisanji to sue, but that would probably curb Dokibird lawyer's enthusiasm to take legal action as well.
In general, this reveals more cross-culture and cross-language miscommunication that was happening at every step.

Now far be it for me to tell you what to do, but I'm an old memer, so may I recommend the age old adage of LURK MOAR FAGET?
To whom?

By the way, this you? /vt/ browsin' ahh
According to the fine folks at /vt/ who are watching streams, Aia is apparently crying in her member stream, and Scarle has straight up ditched her member stream. She has a non-member stream in an hour so that should be hilarious.

… it’s one tap on mobile. I don’t find it super likely either, just because it’s placed in the center of the screen where one is less likely to have their finger (and what are the odds it’s that comment), but there’s not even a confirmation you have to tap through. That’s why I said it’s not out of the realm of possibility.

Why would Enna and Millie care about that though? Seriously, they say some of the most unhinged stuff out there. Also, why wouldn't they and Elira and Selen not have greater solidarity among each other for living in the same area? Like, literally Selen knows where they live. You really want to bother your neighbor/co-worker who could easily rat you out? Great plan...
They live in the same country, but i remember Enna saying that Selen lives in the complete opposite way, so. That's the thing, they're just co-workers. Doesn't matter if they live in the same country. Especially if Selen doesn't fit in Elira's group

Anyone remember if it was this bad when Coco set off the bugmen?
And as fun as the rrat about Elira and co being middle managers is, it runs contrary to a lot of what's said in Sayu's google doc

Tldr for the lazy ones:
The theory is that management being weak ESL nips allowed bilingual talents (elira) to step up and claim the position of middle managers for themselves. That is why they got access to confidential info and a bunch of other perks like the merchs and sponsorships mentioned in the attachments below. That is also why everyone had to play nice with elira and her clique - because they were the defacto management.

This is insane and I totally believe it. I never trusted either of those SEAmonkeys either, Millie and Enna. I gave Millie a chance because I really liked her design but I could tell something was off about that girl I just didn't know what. Always trust your gut Kiwis

What parts of Sayu's doc contradicts any of it?
If anything it fits very well with her "crime" of going above her work experience 2 week hire group manage's head. If Elira et al were acting as the go between for JP it would make sense why they flipped the fuck out over a rogue JP speaking talent going to other higher management and tried so hard to destroy her for completely minor infractions.

I thought this was brought up in this thread but it was probably on TVA and I just got them mixed up.
When the youtube app sends you a notification about a comment, one of the quick options (IDK the proper term) is to heart it, I saw people speculate this is what happened.

Drag scrolling wouldn't work,, Even putting your thumb directly on the button and dragging down wont activate it, you have to press the button on purpose.

Missed most of the Tenma stream. Some pretty buff kanpainikis.
Do you think they all watch her and Phase or some of them just found out about the twitter tag and posted to brag?

I'm not very familiar with Niji talents outside of rrats and drama but my intuition was always that Enna was a company loyalist and Millie was "enforcement" but not particularly influential. Big if true, but the rrat wouldn't run contrary to this.

I never even considered the fact that Sayu speaking Japanese would allow her to go way over their heads. If that's actually how things played out then soap operas have nothing on this.
