I honestly can't get worked up over the NY court ruling. Nothing about it is new from what I can tell. The judicial branch being used as a political cudgel? Check. Hilarious number thrown at someone clearly because of their politics? Check. Orange man? Bad. Wow, what a trippy day in Fulton! The hearing really went off the rails today at the end. I'll recap.

So, first of all, the county decided to NOT cross-examine Fani at all, because a blind man in a coma could see how bad the optics are whenever she is on the stand. Usually you'd at least try to rehabilitate your witness with some friendly questions, but its obvious that there would be no way to prevent total disaster when the Trump Defense squad got their turn to re-direct. That was a real shame, it would have been funny as fuck.

The next witness brought up was Fani's dad, who had apparently watched the testimony and prepared by an attorney appropriately because he 'confirmed' Fani's testimony about keeping cash and stuff like that almost unprompted. It was basically useless testimony both internally and due to the fact that he prepped for his testimony. He should have known better, being a lawyer himself, but then again we are talking about a low-IQ nigger that'll lie as readily as he'll breathe.

Then they brought up Mr. Bradley, Wade's old friend, law partner, and lawyer. After he was dragged in from a 'doctor's appointment' that kept him out most of the morning. This is the second time they had him up, and like last time Team Trump spent all fucking day trying to pry anything out of Bradley. It was made almost impossible because the "attorney privilege protection" he claimed, combined with the county attorneys and trial judge both running interference. Honestly, I thought they weren't going to get anything of value despite some really smart efforts that they kept up for hours.

Then Ms. Cross, the county attorney gets up to cross-examine Mr. Bradley. You'd think since Bradley played ball all day and was taking a lot of heat to shield Fani and Wade, that Ms. Cross would throw him some softballs and close the day. Well, you would be fucking wrong. This crazy bitch (who may or may not have destroyed evidence) decided that she would burn Bradley to the fucking ground by asking him about sexual harassment allegations. As in "Mr. Bradley, didn't you sexually assault a client?" and she even lined up two witnesses to hammer it home! She wanted to present horrible allegations to paint him as a monster and a liar, and I can't get why. She had to have planned that all in advance, and it was crazy to see her throw him under the bus like that.

The kicker is, though, that these 'sexual harassment' issues was allegedly why Bradley left his firm, which he previously had said had to do with privilege, so...that opens the door to piercing all the privilege protections asserted. So right now the judge is doing an 'in camera' (private review) with Mr. Bradley about his 'understanding of privilege' with some other evidence. I don't want to be optimistic, but if Bradley decides to repay the betrayal by flipping he could easily 'revise' his testimony with his 'new understanding' of what privilege covers.

This situation is fundamentally a bad situation rife with incompetence and stupidity. The smartest thing at this point would be to suicide him so he can't change his testimony, but these people aren't Clintons. I don't really know what is going through their head when that chose to throw him under the bus, but I didn't know what was going through their head when they decided to protect an obviously corrupt DA who used the Trump case for an extremely visible level of corruption.
