This just makes me think of those types of modern movies that instead of conveying information to the audience subtly they just have these unnatural dialogues between characters like "Yes, brother, remember the time we got in big trouble at school with Friend 1 and Friend 2 in 1986?" "Ah yes, that was a formative experience for all of us that will be relevant to the plot later in the movie!" "Yes, those were the days, indeed!" They're just poorly-written infodumps that are only included because the plot demands it and aren't convincing as actual human interactions at all.
