Googling for "Nebutori", which was the word displayed under the drawing, seems to confirm my suspicion.

It seems like it's the Japanese take on beer goggles with a unique twist, where the man wakes up hungover the morning after a casual hookup and realizes he severely underestimated the size of his partner the night before. The unique twist is that rather than blaming it on his own poor/clouded judgement, he blames it on a mysterious disease the woman is infected with, which causes her to grow in size overnight.

I've been watching some old episodes. If you sort by oldest on the odysee channel, its one of them before the shoeonhead episode, perhaps green is my pepper but perhaps a bit further back.
I personally doubt he did, but having respect and regard for christianity is more important that outright believing, which is basically a private affair between you and your god anyway. But no, he has never mentioned it again and never said what he decided.
