Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Was that second one really necessary? I know he was still moving and it's debatably a mercy but damn.
If it's DPR/LNR, yes. They invented the hate drop.

Keep in mind they're targeting the AFU but Banderites use Russian POWs for their videos. There's several where the Russian soldier has no weapon and gestures to the drone operator "Hurry up, faggot".

At this point after all the Banderite war crimes and videos of said war crimes, most Russian drone operators are in idgaf mode.
Komerad Kot is now a pow?
Has been liberated.

There is no single correct answer on the issue of standing fast versus retreating in the face of an offensive. Its an entirely situational question. Standing fast works if the advances through the lines are narrow and the defending side has enough reserves behind the line to successfully counterattack. It doesn't work if you a numerically inferior forces with no reserves whatsoever. It also works if the points at which one is standing fast are critical transportation points which will stall the other sides offensive if not captured.

Ukraine's recent problems though were not really an issue of strategy. Or an issue of the right time to withdraw. Ukraine had several highly regarded brigades get soundly defeated in head to head fighting with the russians near the city over a matter of weeks. And defeated on the defensive. The Ukrainians, contrary to reports, were not lacking in men or ammunition in that fighting. They fed an entire brigade at the problem and they failed to even stabilize a tiny front north of the city along the main road. They doubled the forces available to defend the city and they still lost.

Oh i guess i didn't consider the kots where brought by the Russians, they are cute eitherway
Comerade Kot does not care for politics.

As long as the milk is flowing, which assuredly it will, it will do it’s patriotic mouse hunting duty whether for Banderites or Russians.
Kot is a profesional, and profesionals have standards

They are sending Abrams? on god? just like that? after loosing the fortress completely?
Now i don't pretend to be an armchair general but that seems retarded, what are they gonna do? just drive straight trough and get hit by artillery?
Z Twitter is going to be watching footage until their eyes bleed, trying to be the first to confirm an Abrams kill.

I mean that's exactly what they've done with every other piece equipment we've donated to them.

Late to the party but I still can't grasp how this faggot actually got the place of commander in chief in the first place against Zaluzhny of all people, I haven't heard a single good thing about him.

I love the cope of "Guys, this just shows Ukraine actually cares about it's men by retreating!"

Like, are these niggers for real? Holy hell.
I know they are saying they are retreating, but realistically, how much retreating is going to happen when you are fully encircled and the only way out is across a muddy, open field that is under constant drone and artillery fire?
How many actually make it?

They should have retreated a month ago. Now it is too late. Retreat now and they will just all be blown up by artillery or drones.
I hope the whole bunch of them volga-surrender instead of just going out there and die in a meaningless attempt to flee.

Have you heard anyone remotely credible argue this, or only online Nazis? Because I've only heard this from the latter source. Because it was a rout. 600,000 men were lost.
I've mentioned it before both here and in other threads, but Alan Clark in his book Barbarossa, which is most certainly not sympathetic to the Nazis in any respect, does detail that Hitler's stand fast order in the Winter of 1941/1942 following the defeat outside Moscow more than likely prevented the German position in the East from collapsing, as the Red Army (who still hadn't fully recovered the initial assault of the previous summer, and still didn't fully have it's act together tactically speaking) very quickly ran out of steam after the initial counter-attack and soon found itself succumbing to the same maneuver warfare cauldrons the Germans had so successfully employed months earlier.

Now the long term problem with this, though, is that Hitler had ordered the stand fast directive against the advice of his Generals because they had feared that the German divisions would be surrounded and crushed. When that did not happen, showing that Hitler had been right and the generals were wrong, it gave the Furher a confidence and ego boost that made him basically declare "Hell, anyone can run these grand battles!" Come late summer to fall and eventually winter of 1942 and the battle around Stalingrad, though, and Hitler again issues the stand fast directive under the belief that because it worked before, it will work again. We all know how that turned out.

Not sure why they're that excited. Yeah, mindless propagandists like David Axe have spent over a year writing about how the 30 refurbished Abrams tanks Ukraine received are going to completely turn the tide against the evil RuZZian orcs, but he's an idiot writing for other idiots. There's been video roaming about for years from the ISIS wars and the Yemeni Civil War showing Abrams tanks getting reckted by enemy fire. Hell, even in Desert Storm where the M1 was the undisputed champion, we still had several that were destroyed or disabled by enemy fire. The thing has never been indestructible and anyone who thought so has been playing too many video games.

It makes sense, one of the real remaining purposes of tanks is they can provide 24/7 security over a wide area, so for the newly established line armor is going to play a pretty big role. This is a rather important part of the line.
How long will it take for the tanks to arrive and be operational? If it's another week then Ukraine may lose too much for it to be effective

I’m seeing several telegram reports about Russia attacking hard in Zaporyzhie in the south. (Near Rabotino).

Massive artillery strikes. Makes sense that they’d continue the steamroller another place, since the Ukrops don’t really have reserves anymore, and previously pulled units from there to Avdeevka.
They would probably be wise to show some caution, though. Unless they're very confident about their intelligence on the disposition of Ukrainian forces, they could very easily over-extend themselves and wind up with some of their forces trapped in a pocket of their own.

That would probably be assuming that Ukraine has been doing a 4d chess move this entire time in order to trick Russia into thinking that they leak tactical plans and classified logistics information like a sieve that has been sliced into ribbons.

Afaik they are already active. As was already pointed out 30 tanks isn't that many, presumably they equipped some elite battalion with it

Think of modern military vehicles like aircraft and tanks as if they were a formula one car.
After each f1-race you need to basically take the whole car apart and do a full engine rebuild before you can drive it again.
That is the cost of peak performance.

As for ukraine, ukraine is basically the country depicted in "Empire of dust" but populated with low-functioning retarded slavs.
They don't maintain shit. Anything they are given falls into disrepair, be it roads, sewage tunnels, electricity grid, or weapons systems like tanks.
When they take the tanks out they will run them with zero maintenance until it either is destroyed or breaks down.

Watch and remember what happens with the Abrahams once they start using them. The exact same thing will happen to the F16's if and when they get them.
