We no longer import the bourgeois fleeing socialist oppression (like we did in the aftermath of the Vietnam war, the Cuban Revolution, and the handover of Hong Kong to China) but rather the elite of the socialist societies and their supporters who have no reason to change their opinions after moving to the US.

In my conservative city, the "based" locals couldn't be bother to show up and vote out the CRT-pushing morons on our school board and recently we found out that we have several gay pedo teachers who are being protected by said school board members. Meanwhile I, a transplant, voted against all of those people.
