I bet Maddox turned against Dick because he realized Dick was more popular with the fans. First he tries to kick him off the podcast and when that blows up in his face he tries to kill Dick's career by accusing him of wrongthink.

We're supposed to believe Maddox ended the podcast because he found out the author of Why Men Are Better Than Women isn't a feminist? Give me a fucking break.

Whatever his beef with Dick was, he could have been a professional and ended the show gracefully. After the little hiatus, they could have gotten together, acted like grown men, and decided to do a final show to announce their intentions purely as service to the fans who supported the show through its run. It could have given them a way to end on a high note, and promote their future work in a way that didn't confuse and alienate their fans. While I'm sure they made some money here , based on the fact that most of their regular contributors were unpaid, I can't imagine this thing was some kind of cash cow.

These guys are in their late 30s, living in Hollywood, still trying to land their big break into the entertainment business. I honestly don't expect much in the form of maturity from them, but at least Dick has some charisma, talent, and professionalism. He also seems to appreciate the people who support his show. Maddox is an emotionally underdeveloped man-child.

Seriously George threw legitimate fucking tantrums over monkeys, Titanic clips and the MADDOX LOST song, it was hilarious. Someone pointed out to me once that all the things that pissed Maddox off don't see any use in later episodes while Maddox still dumped on Dick all he wanted. Unsurprising, I suppose.

Nah, Maddox was funny at one point because he was a dick and would mock anything, that's why so many people are kinda sad to see that he turned into a giant whiny cuck.

The whole "Xtreme" craze was dumb and the idea of extreme yogurt was even dumber. So I don't think I'm really in disagreement with him on that.

I've been following this drama closely. I don't think Maddox understands the meaning of 'Dox'. Posting you home address and posting your phone number and work number = Doxing. Posting publicly available social media accounts =/= Doxing.

How sad. I used to read his shit when I was a kid. I never listened to the podcast or anything. I had mostly forgotten about him until a few months ago when one of his videos came up in my recommended.

I found Maddox at his prime, in the late 90s. I was young enough (and male enough) to be exactly his target audience. Some of his early stuff was great, but even when he was on fire, I had this gut feeling of "This guy's schtick is not going to age well".

...Can't say I was wrong. Shame.

Probably his biggest mistake is trying to ride the "Maddox" brand into the sunset. The time when that worked is long past, if he wants to blog and vlog as a cuck, then he needs to start a new series as "George the Cuck". This is not easy, but the blogging world makes it easier than most other platforms would. As it is, even people who might be interested in his Cuckblog look at it, look at his Maddox work, and say "Wow, that used to be him? Fuck this."
