Nintendo Switch (Currently Plagued) - Here we shit post about the new Nintendo console, The Switch

Not sure if the switch has 15 million this year in it, 2022 it did 19.6 million and from what I can tell has slowed down since then. Doubt Nintendo will stop making them when the Switch 2 comes out, plus a low price for it will help it as well push it past the PS2 numbers, just don't expect it until 2025 to get past that.
As a fan boy nothing would make me happier! Also with Xbox going multi platform how bout they put Killer Instinct where it belongs, home on Nintendo

I still don't believe it's just going to be Switch 2. Nintendo can't help themselves to base their system around some bullshit gimmick. Neither am I sure that the hardware got delayed because they want to make sure the launch software line up is good. Maybe the backwards compatibility can be believed, at least cautiously.

If it is true, I can say I WAS RIGHT because I've been saying all along that we wouldn't get it until 2025.

I think we're getting MP2 this year, and MP 3 as a Switch 2 launch title and MP4 on Switch 2 later on.

Also I found this amusing.

Rareware and Mistwalker stuff would be most welcome. It'd be nice if they dug deep into their backlog and brought stuff like Blinx too, I've always wanted to try that series.

Metroid Prime 4, perhaps? It'd be a good cross-gen game if the rumours of Switch 2 boosting Switch games are true.
That's what I'd pick, but I imagine Nintendo wants a Mario or Zelda related franchise there day 1. Ideally MP4 would be there too, but I'm thinking Donkey Kong might be the choice.

Anybody who legitimately believed Steam Deck was gonna be a Switch killer was crazy. However, it did very well for what it was, especially considering its limited availability.

Steam Deck 2 could theoretically have a chance, but it would need to do a lot different and Nintendo would need to drop the ball.

Don't forget
Kinect: "This is going to be the Wii killer"

Well, we got Steel Battalion out of it, FWIW

Sure, it may be the best Kinect title and even outdoes bullshit like Kinect Adventures and whathaveyou, but it's not saying much. It's still forgettable, especially after almost an hour playing it

Wasn't it famously broken to the point where most people couldn't even get past level one or two on it? Like Donkey Kong Bongo Racewhatever on Wii was?

Anyways, out of total boredom today I decided to sequentially rank all of my played Switch games in order of "best" to "worst." Apparently I've only played 71 Switch games, what a light weight!

I think they'll need good bundles and a killer swan song to make it happen at all, especially if Switch 2 releases this year.
Well looks like that’s not happening.
Some shitty Pokémon Black and White remakes should do the trick. 16 million is easy over a year and a half.

Even the Wii managed to sell ~15 million units from its last primary year onwards.

Also the Wii outsold the WiiU in its launch year lmao.

The funny thing is that those systems are just as good if not better than Nintendo's handhelds, what made Nintendo so much more successful than it's competitors is the simple fact that Pokemon is exclusive to they're systems.

Since the Wii U launched in early November you're giving the Wii 22 months in its "last primary year". Thats not exactly a viable comparison to giving the Switch 14. Though the Switch will probably blow through those totals anyway. Especially since they will probably continue making Lites, at least, for another three or four years to satisfy the Shittymon Company and their desire to put out as low a quality game as they can get away with.

Shakedown Hawaii was the last physical release for both Wii and Wii U; It was released on both platforms in 2020. You will pry my Wii U out of my cold dead hands, but it's kind of comical what an abysmal failure it was compared to Wii.
